Please, Don't Touch Anything... The most disregarded advice this game gives players.

The game is a nice litle time killer, it contains loads of brain twisting (almost logic defying) puzzles.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent, it is an okay game, but the horror aspect of it is lost on me.

At most it builds tension and anticipation but it never acts or expresses this in what i could interpert as actual horror. Sure it tells a backstory with events that could be considerd scary but it never goes that far in the actual game.

When it comes to gameplay the game excels in some areas and falls short in others, the sanity meter/level is a nice touch. not being able to fight is also a merit to the "horror" side of the game, the movement feeling a bit slow at times also caused me to get a litle anxious at times when running away from something was required;
However we now come to the thing that was a detrement to the "horror" part of the game, enemy AI/programming causes them to not search the area very well, on more than one occasion i was able to avoid the enemy by simply standing right besides/behind the doorway in bright light as they walked past me turned around and walked back without seeing me.

It's not a bad game, it's just not a "horror" game.

I do still recomend adding it to your collection.

It's a nice stategy game.

It plays smoothly. adding the pollitical choice element was a nice, allowing you to influence the battle without even setting foot on it.

It does however push some political views in a rather obvious manner, which is not necessarily a detriment to this feature but does make it somewhat dated.

Being able to go into battle yourself is a fun little feature, however I feel that it could have been implemented better because it can break the games balance somewhat.

I'm of the opinion that this is a bellow-average game.


From what i've seen this game has:
One map: a small subburbian street lined with two floor buildings.
Two types of enemies: the Evil Soul and the Soul Commander.
Three types of weapons: a pistol, shotgun and rifle.

I've found that the game runs smoothly, even on what would be equivacable to a potato-PC.
appart from the environment everything features a single transparent blue-ish or white-ish colour, all the enemies and weapons are just sollid colours.
the game also features 3 difficulty settings, but al they do is up the damage from enemies.
Other than that the game features 500 achievements! But all of them are just for killing the souls (just spam).

The game is not unplayable, it's just borring after a while.

I have played Killing Floor 2 for a little bit and have sumized the folowing things.

player choice: The player is able to chose from a selection of combat styles ranging form healing and support to full offence. each class gains individual XP dependent on criteria like using that class' weapons and the like. Each class is able to level up-to lvl 25 for every lvl the class gains slight increases to weapon damage, reload spead and various othe stats. Every 5 levels the class gains a buff like pasive health regen and increased movement speed with certain weapons.

Game structure: . Each session is broken up in rounds ranging from 4, 7 and 10 (plus a final boss round).
during these rounds you wil face hoards of increasingly more varied and difficult enemies, culminating in a boss battle.
this structure alows players to easily set a mark for when to stop playing.

Enemy AI: The enemy AI follows a simple rule find find the shortest path to a player that allows for an attack.

Here's a list of a few of the things you can do in Borderlands.
you can:
walk, run, jump, shoot, loot, strafe, drive, die and revive, set up turrets (as the soldier), throw your bird (as the hunter), walk through a different dimension (as the siren), beat your enemy to a pulp using nothing but your fist (as Brick).

Overall i enjoyed this game. However the need to swap out your gear due to leveling means that you cant get used to a single set of guns , furthermore i found the driving a litle akward, using the camera to steer means that vehicular combat can be unwieldy (not being able to aim in one direction and drive in a different direction) this problen is not pressent if you have a buddy manning the turret.

none of these problems however make the game unenjoyable.

It's a short little game, you can finnish it in less than 4 hours.



The game plays with a few meta concepts (like grinding xp).

The hidden tickets are a nice toutch. You don't need any of them to finnish the game, but you will most likely come across a few in your first playthrough. spoilers: uppon finding all 24 tickets you unlock the true fnal boss.

potential story spoilers: I believe that some ellements are reference to the 2010 animated movie interpretation of Dante's Inferno.

Run, jump, hack and shoot your way through this fun little game.

This is a game that I grew up with.

I honestly don't know what to write about this game, other than that it must be played with a controler.

It's an okay walking-sim, the dialogue and comentary from the narator is what makes the game funny and enjoyable to me.

The game features a branching path type narative.

overall I must say that i enjoyed my brief time with this game.

I'm sure that this is a fun game, it just did not realy capture my atention or interests, and that is one of the major things that an MMORPG should do.

The controls were okay from what i got to see.

The character and enemy design felt a litle standard and uninspired. There might've been realy cool characters and enemie's later on, I just didn't get to see them.
