I'm a little split on this game, on the one hand it's funny but on the other hand it is a little expensive for the amount of joy you can get from it.
I'd recommend buying this game if it's on sale or if you have a coupon but only if you really want it.

The game is Woefully short but it managed to get a pair of laughs out of me in that time.
there isn't much else to say about the game. After looking back at it I cant really say what i enjoyed about it.

A nice and simple child-friendly collectathon.

The game is relatively short, If you play to complete it as fast as possible you can beat 100% of the game in about 1.7 or 2 hours.

The gameplay is rather simple you move around the level with a top-down perspective and beat the occasional enemy, using your fiery breath to defeat them. Beating a level is really easy I've beaten the entire game without dying to an enemy once and feel that you could only fail if you do so intentionally.
When it comes to narrative the game is rather bare-bones and does not really do anything to establish any character motivation or personality, it's just; You are a dragon who likes to collect treasure. Why who knows.
You have a mystic floating panda fiend. Who is he? I don't know.
but this can be put down to the young audience that it is aimed at.

Playing through the game I found that it had nice and relaxing BGM that suited the rest of the overall look, tone and feel of the game.

The game itself works fine, the difficulty buildup in the first few levels is done well, you learn basic movement and shooting in the first three levels, but at later points in the game you will need to have refined these things to an almost maddening point where it feels like making it through a level was up to luck and a coin flip.

If you are a 100% completionist looking for a game to add to your list then pass this game up, as of me writing this review one of the achievements is broken (the complete a level with 1 HP left achievement), and makes it impossible to 100% complete the game (unless you make use of a certain program).

I also found that the presentation of the game was not handled well, I feel that if the game was made in a 2D side-view or 2.5D/3D Isometric perspective instead of the 3D 1st perspective view, it might have felt better to play because at some points i felt like i was staring at wall textures for more than half of the level.
furthermore the animation for the character inspecting his gun gets in the way of the players view, and not being able to see a soldier/skeleton coming towards you can be rather frustrating at times.

A "restart level" button would also have been nice for when you screw up or get stuck on a level and can't off yourself. Also a few options would have been nice to have in the game, like a brightness slider or volume control for ambient sounds and such.

And the final gripe i have with this game is that there is absolutely no music, nothing in the background or on the menu to set the tone for this game, a simple melody or a single instrument could make the difference between something that's meant to instill a feeling of dread or give a sense of intrigue. As it is there is no way to tell what this game is meant to make you feel (other than the feeling of frustration).

I liked playing this game, the atmospheric BGM was lovely to listen to while making my way through the story of the first chapter.
I did encounter a bug in one of the routes that caused me to not be able to pick up some of the necessary items forcing me to start a new game.
I almost can't wait to see the next chapter of the story.

If you liked the music in the game I'd say that this is certailny worth getting for the price that it's going for.
For me it was worth it for just the song "Friends Of The Deceased Moon".

The one thing that I think is missing from this is some album cover art, but that's not a deal-breaker for me.

This is your short standard FPS game. The gameplay is nothing special but the look and feel of the game make it more fun than your standard brown-town shooter.

A nice litle distraction, it's fun for 30~45 minutes at a time.

It's a game I loved to complete. It feels much more open and connected than the first game. The drivng has been improved by not slowing you down when driving through mud, as oposed to the original PS2 GC and XB versions.
Using the collectibles to buy easthetics (skins) is also a nice bonus.

Football if it where invented by Michael Bay.

The game is fun but it's not worth the price tag. Maybe buy it if you have a 90% discount but even then it's on the short side of playtime.

Paradise Lost is an excellent extension to Postal 2. It ads a whole new week worth of gameplay.
