i recently picked up the logitech g29 because i had recently gotten back into dirt rally and wanted to spice up my game play. it was really fun, but i knew that after a while id just have a $250 wheel sitting around doing nothing because one can only drive the same few rally stages over and over before getting bored. i then decided to grab assetto corsa because i knew that it had amazing wheel support. upon first loading up the game, i very surprised at just how much of an understatement that was. the force feedback was INSANELY GOOD. it was night and day difference between the quality of dirty rally 2.0 and Assetto Corsa. you could feel everything and tell what it was you were feeling, all the way from a small bump in the road, to the lack of power steering in older cars. i spent the entirety of yesterday just playing with cars and different maps in practice mode alone and never once did i regret my decision to purchase the wheel, or the game. one things for sure, im getting a lot, and i mean A LOT MORE use out of this wheel and this game will likely see many hundreds of hours by the end of the year. if you have a sim racing wheel and are looking for a game to play, THIS IS THAT GAME.

A work of art
okay, so i started a new game plus, don't take the hours that steam shows because that is far from accurate, i would say i at least have 130 hours in the game, 125 before new game plus, and all i have to say is, i haven't been this intrigued by a games story since... i don't know exactly, lets say since i played the uncharted games back on the PS3. not even Red Dead Redemption 2 held my interest as much as this game and i really enjoyed that game, i put around 55 hours or so into its story before i put the game down. (i stopped playing around the time you find out Arthur is dying) While the combat system in the Witcher 3 is no where as difficult as dark souls, or as in depth as other midieval combat games, it still feels like the perfect middle ground for any player, where its simple enough for anyone to play with, but with practice can be mastered to where you almost never take damage in a fight. the world building is breathtaking and disturbing all at the same time, whether you are wandering the streets of Novigrad or finding bloodied corpses in the swamps of Velen, there is detail EVERYWHERE. the cherry on top, well at least if your like me, the modding. while its no Bethesda game or minecraft in terms of moddability, its still enough to scratch that itch, just be careful or else youll end up like me and spend 20 hours troubleshooting because you downloaded 4 mods that said they would work together but didnt. i went in with around 35 or so mods mainly texture and lighting changes to push my rig to its limit, and came out with 7 working mods, but it was still enough to make me run the game at 40 to 50fps at way more than max settings. (yes call me a mad man for playing at lower than 60, you learn to deal with it when playing games like arma 3 and star citizen) and finally if you havent already, buy the DLC, or if you dont have the game yet, buy the GOTY edition, because every second of the dlc is amazing. over all the game gets a solid 9.5/10

well, it only took me about 22 hours to actually figure out the game, which im glad, because i thought i wouldnt be able to break the battlefield/cod play style. i only have reach because instead of buying the full game i bought my friends christmas presents (i took a long break before actually trying to play the game, wish i hadnt). really looking forward to the legit release of forge and halo 3/4. i give this game an 8 outta 10 must play.

games pretty fun, i like throwing grenades, dying of fall damage and shooting flares straight up the drop pods tunnel. one thing i gotta know though, is do the devs plan on adding mod support?
