This game is nothing like Lego Batman.
I thoroughly enjoyed this phenomenal Lego game known as Lego Batman 2. The story was magnificent, each level hand-crafted so delicately to ensure maximum user enjoyment. Seriously, I had few issues with this game, and I thought going around Gotham collecting over 100 gold bricks was going to cause some issues but it didn't.
I'll start with some negative things I encountered:
1. Softlocks
I got softlocked a total of 3 times, stuck as superman and couldn't be killed due to invincibility, boss fight bug (vs Joker & Lex), and continuous death in vehicle due to drowning.
2. Crashes
All lego games I've played have crashed multiple times, and in this game it doesn't crash more, but I've had to restart my pc twice due because of this game :/
3. Flying in Gotham City
You get used to it, it can be a bit annoying to learn / deal with. Very minor issue though.
4. Batgirl can't wear any batman suits :(
5. Not enough time to play as Supergirl before 100%ing the game

This game is amazing, the levels are designed 1000x better than in the first game, the suits have a brand new ability or combine the abilities of multiple suits in LB1, the minikits are far less convoluted to obtain (I only needed a guide very few times, the characters in this game are waaay cooler, more custom character slots and things to choose from.
Each gold brick on the map is either a fun challenge or pretty easy (especially if you use characters that can fly / cyborg / Mr. Freeze & others to cheese them). You can also play as Ice Spice!! Clones of her swarm the streets of Gotham City and appear in many levels, it's awesome! The red brick prices are also very cheap in this game making it easy to buy them without much effort in affording them. The character design is much better as well, the women are attractive in this game an the gentlemen look more refined. The Riddler is also a fruity little cutie in this installment. Levels being "bugged" in a way where you can just skip a ton of stuff unlike a lot of forced stuff in the original and even other lego games, for example just skipping 4 vats and doing the 5th in that chemical level with the vats, or just being able to fly over everything like in that one level with Mr. Freeze. I spent many sessions spanning 1.5+ hours on this game and never once did it feel like I was on the game for that long just due to how good the game is. I could go on.

10/10 Game, I'm looking forward to Lego Batman 3 so much, I'd still recommend buying this on sale in the bundle with all 3 Lego Batman games just to get the most bang for your buck (and spend less) but personally I would not regret buying this single game for full price since it's just so mmmrrrgghh yummy :drooling:
