Dad of Boy is probably one of the most epic stories I've seen told in a video game. It truly feels like a Epic Odyssey tale the likes of which you'd read about in ancient scrolls XD The combat is exceptional, and depending on the difficulty of choice, quite alters the way you must play a LOT.

Another cool thing to note as well is the camera NEVER cuts away! The game never cuts the camera off so the cut scenes just flow into gameplay and vice versa!
They just did everything right in this game. Combat, Gameplay, combo building, its all just too spectacular. It really encourages you to try new things when fighting enemies.

(Bit of a rant/tangent here) Just don't be like most other people who play the game and try to win every fight with Axe throws. The sooner you "git gud" with CQC melee combat, the better your chances of surviving, ESPECIALLY if you're playing on higher difficulties. If you want to just axe throw (weakling) play on "Give me a Story" Difficulty you filthy casual.

And here's a free tip, if say you find an armor piece that is level 3 compared to your level 1 armor, EQUIP THAT ARMOR. Use your common sense! Level makes a HUGE difference when fighting ANYTHING. This includes armor, talismans, pommels, and the enchantments you might have equipped to your armor!
As your level increases your damage output overall increases as does your damage resistance! If you try to kill a level 5 wolf with yourself only being level 1... you're going to die in one hit! UPGRADE YOUR ♥♥♥♥!

I legit saw a streamer not even 2 days ago with nothing upgraded yet having almost 50K XP and nearly 140k Hacksilver (game currency) try to take on a wolf with a Skull and Crossbones icon over it cause it was just too strong for her. And go figure, it kept one shot killing her cause she didn't use her common sense and UPGRADE her gear even though she HAD a level 2 armor set in her inventory! I see so many streamers going around not upgrading or equipping their better gear and it drives me up the wall! XD Think of it this way "You WILL upgrade your arsenal or you WILL lose." And that is no joke. Rant over LOL
