Yesterday my beloved gaming laptop’s speakers went mute. This grim event was yet another casualty of the windows updates, which also took out the ‘Adjust Brightness’ setting and the ‘Night Light’ setting.

My sweet and beautiful laptop, oh how wonderful it was receiving you as a birthday gift in 2017. Back then you could run Rust in full resolution, but now it’s just a blurry picture...similar to my own world.


Before the summer ends, we both know you’ll be retired into new hands; someone who wouldn’t mind your faults, someone who would feel humbled and satisfied. Doesn’t it remind you of me?
