Really amazing and quite depressing game. The visuals and character designs are just phenomenal - it screams Del Toro and I love it. I love how it has all these hidden visuals and meanings representing trauma, fear, and ... well, nightmares. There is a story here but its not an evident one - its hidden in the details, the character designs, the visuals. Phenomenal visual storytelling. An absolute masterpiece in all honesty.

While it is still in early access, I cannot deny this is one of the scariest games I have played in a while. The atmosphere it builds while barely relying on jump-scares is just perfect. I have to give credit to the sound design however. The use of the in game voice communication and with the walkie talkie is just perfect, and leads to so many 'horror movie' moments. The way that sound is utilised in proximity to the player is perfect, with distance being of key importance. Get this game, and play it with a group of friends - you will not regret it. I cannot wait until this game will be fully released, it could genuinely be one of the greatest horror games of all time if done properly.

The king of RPG's

This is probably one of (currently) my most played games, and I have so much fun with it.
While I am aware it has plenty of problems (the hitboxes really need to be fixed), I still enjoy it very much

Wonderful game. Capcom really have pulled through with this, creating one of the best video game remasters I've ever played. It still captures the thrills and horror of the original game, but perfectly updates it to a new age. Couldn't recommend this game more if you're a fan of the series, or of the horror genre. Amazing game, cannot wait for Nemesis!

Great reboot of a great franchise

How a sequel should be done. Twice the puzzles, twice the fun, twice the comedy, twice the story, etc.

The amount of fun that you can have with this game is almost endless. The story is that cliché 80's action movie,and is decent, but there is no denying that the main selling point is the amount of chaos you can cause.

Wish there was multiplayer like in Just Cause 2 though.
