Decent game, only buy if on sale though. Many boss fights are made to be tedious, with luck as one of the main aspects to it. This is especially the case in fights that are already difficult. Most bosses in this game are just poorly designed and not fun to fight. Exploration on the other hand, is great, and is what kept me playing. It really is fun to explore and do whatever, which is where this game actually strives. It does get annoying when you backtrack so much, but the start of the game feels great. There is a ton of stuff to do when you beat the game, like when you beat the final boss you can buy the rest of the maps from the areas you did not find and can continue playing. Many things are very well hidden, including things that should not be that well hidden, as they will rarely be discovered through normal gameplay. Definitely don't be afraid to look things up, but try not to unless you don't know what to do. Also buy map markers and mark places you can't reach yet, its a lifesaver.

Its fun to play PVE, they have some decent content in that regard but it gets repetitive. Zombies side is blatantly trash which means that if you play PVP you might as well log out of the match upon randomly being selected as zombie. Most plants are very quick with a focus on ranged options, and literally every single zombie is slow, and most rely on close-range options. The ones that don't rely on close range are stupidly weak, like the literal sniper rifle that does 20 damage per hit, when plants have 20 damage machineguns. PVP is also completely dead besides veteran players who have the strongest stuff in the game, which takes hundreds of hours of mindless grinding to get on top of random luck, making it very unfair to new players. Honestly no clue why people talk so highly about this game, the PVE is the only redeeming quality, yet no one plays it.

Everything was fun up to the fish. The fish literally refused to go to shore meaning it is not possible to progress the game past that point, the tutorial. I liked everything else, except controls were a bit wonky [PC] but the fish needs to stop doing circles. Every time you try to push it towards shore it gets stopped by an invisible barrier and does circles around it, but if you push it the opposite way it goes perfectly fine, showing that it is really impossible.

This is an early review and I don't have enough time to actually judge the game, but its practically an unplayable bugfest. This is the day after launch, so nowadays to be expected, but I am not just gonna sit idly by while every game that comes out turns to be this ♥♥♥♥ because they don't have to finish it.

I absolutely love this game. Its great at all stages in the game and has loving developers who should be able to keep this game alive for years.

Great game. Got all achievements in 66 minutes while also experimenting in most stages to find cool stuff I could do. A quick game, I recommend downloading and playing this through if you have a little while, its fun.

Beta of this game was great, for the most part. Now its a pay-2-win or grindfest, or even both. Lag on every platform in PVP, severely lacking character balance, and a tedious menu. If you want to get a character, you need to spend hours and hours grinding to get a character that you have literally no idea if you will like because there is no way to play them before buying them. Oh no, 20 hours or 15$ down the drain, oh well. Probably 90 of my hours are in beta, so don't get the wrong impression and think I actually was willing to put up with this trash on live release.

Game is decent, playing as killer is a complete pay to win experience and playing with random survivor teammates can be annoying, I recommend getting this if it is on sale. If you don't want to do ingame purchases for DLC killers then you will be almost forced to play as survivor, in which you will want to have atleast 1 friend to play the game with you. Matchmaking can be flawed at times, but overall as survivor it will all depend on the map and killer, and as killer will depend on the map and how rude the matchmaking wants to be that day.
Overall good game, but very frustrating as both sides camp a lot for good reason.

If you wanna spice up terraria, this is the go-to. This is the easiest way to mod any game I think in existence, and has many great additions and quality of life, which has allowed me to play through the game here about 8-10 times already, all with a different experience. Its so easy to just add new classes, bosses, or NPC's, and is totally worth doing.
