I'll Swim To You...

No matter if you are across the sea,
I will swim to you.
In my hand,
I held the last breath that you took,
As you faded away in my arms.
You slipped away,
Into the sounds of the ocean.
I will swim to you.
I shall not fear every horrifying creature I come by,
As I am one myself.
I should have been there for you.
I may need better glasses,
Because I couldn't even see that you are truly amazing.
I should have loved you more,
I shouldn't have let you fall under the sea.
I will swim to you.
Happiness is a wave,
Sadness is the innermost depth of an ocean,
Where you remain with yourself,
Left alone.
But It'll be okay,
Because I'll swim to you.
You were drowning all this time,
But no one thought to stop and grab your hand,
and pull you out.
A girl with a 4.0 GPA,
Her brain was sickened,
And they found the AUDACITY to say,
That her grades are more important than her health anyways.
And every failure was a tear dropping onto the floor,
And soon enough her tears reached the ceiling,
and she struggled to breathe.
I'll pull you out.
Poor girl,
Never taught how to fight,
Only taught how to surrender.
She tried to hide her feelings from me, --
But she forgot that her eyes can speak too. --
Little did we know that a game of hangman tought us a life-long lesson,
That if you say the wrong thing...
You could end up ending someones life.
Let me save you...
Let my hold you...
Let me tell you that everything will be okay,
Even though that lie is bigger than the ocean itself.
But it'll be okay,
Because I'll swim to you.
