This is a review I was hoping I wouldn't have to write because I had so much hope for it. I wanted this to be a game creating engine that would allow me to create my dream FPS game. However, I'm afraid I have to tell it as it is as of the writing of this review.
When I first bought this, it seemed to be working for awhile. Yes, it was rough around the edges, but it seemed to work for the most part (though I actually didn't get very far with creating anything). As time went on and updates were being applied, something strange and sad happened. One day I noticed there was slowdown and then a crash to the desktop. I have tried everything I could think of to fix the problem - lowering the settings, reinstalling the program, even increasing my PC's physical RAM from 16GB to 32GB - alas, no dice and the problem persists.
Based on everything I could think of, I have to assume the problem is with the program and not my PC, which is a quite a shame because I was really hoping to use this engine to make my dream game as I stated at the beginning.
Until the problem is fixed, this gets a thumbs down. Best wishes to you, Lee Bamber and all involved in the development of this program. I do hope the issue can and will be resolved somewhere down the line.

Sorry you have been having crashing issues with Max and hopefully it will get resolved via the Github. We do get a few reports of crashes especially Devtest and EXP Builds which are usually just test versions and can be understandable.
However if its happening in the Retail than that is not good.

Reproducing the issue is the biggest hurdle especially when the Majority are not getting the problem so it could be anything down to the Software .. a driver .. Or a conflict with another application installed on the users System.

@marc - As my colleague has stated, we take crashes very seriously, and want to help you get up and running. To help us, please post a report on our Github account, listing the problems, and your system specs. https://github.com/TheGameCreators/GameGuruRepo/issues

You can also email me dave@thegamecreators.com and I'll offer help where I can.

Try increasing your systems virtual memory & if possible use an NVMe drive not a standard mechanical drive to enhance performance. For modern day flight simulators I have to assign about 20 GB VRAM on an NVMe for it not to crash on a system with 32 GB ram. Sounds like a mis-configuration issue of some kind.
