It's a great game. The setting is unique, the graphics are good (it's Cry Engine after all), it's creepy, although it requires a strong rig.

It's made to make liars win. The game of liars. Gain trust of others while being infected, deceive them, then kill them. The problem is - my moral code prevents me from lying, that's why I have hard time playing this one. Most of the time I die due to environmental damage, because the labyrinth-esque maps take some time getting used to them.

Damn.

I want my money back.

Are Cavern Escape, Sleengster and Trolley Gold made by the same people and distributed via Indie Gala for free so people could get more trading cards? Seems like that.

An interesting concept, but very lazy developers. The item you move around the map with your mouse is too slippery. Should be removed from Steam, unless it gets fixed. But the game was intended to be broken, and is made solely for obtaining the trading cards.

It doesn't even have the full screen borderless option. Luckily, Steam has the uninstall button.

If you love Serious Sam, you are going to like this one. Instead of the iconic chainsaw, you wield a katana. It has RPG elements which allow you to focus on certain combat styles, and utilise and upgrade your combat moves, which are essentially tied to your katana. Each combat move has certain powers which should be used in adequate situations. For example: using area of effect strikes when surrounded by mob, using single target special attacks on powerful enemies, using energy slash attack for dealing ranged damage, etc. Other usable weapons are firearms (micro SMGs, shotgun, rocket launcher, flamethrower, etc.), and they have upgrades which add alternate firing modes to each of your weapons. The game is linear, but it has enough content to offer, especially if you are aiming to repeat the game by playing on higher difficulties, with fewer resources to plan out your build. Higher difficulties are challenging, unforgiving and a bit overdone at the times. Overall, the game is very fun experience, and the main character Lo Wang is very likable character. Definitely one of the most memorable characters in the gaming industry.

Buy it when the price gets discounted at 20€ or lower, and never look back.

One of the best Action games, and one of the best PC games overall.

Not bad actually. While I was watching my friends playing this, it seemed so boring. They were playing 2 maps all over again, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year. But after I gave it a try I can see why they like this game. It is very fun. You can play wide variety of combat styles with different characters. In-game microtransactions are cosmetic and ludicrously overpriced.

Simply not my cup of tea. Gets easily boring due to its very repetitive nature. Other first person shooters are fun, because you have multiplayer versus human players, while this thing is all about you and bots vs bots in single player, or you and players versus bots in multiplayer. Maybe if this game had pvp where human players are split in two teams, one team the bank robbers, the other team the swat, it could have been somewhat interesting. This way, it simply doesn't cut it. Not to mention unnecessarily detalied and complex micromanaging, which goes something like this: kill the guard, grab the bag, put his corpse in a bag, take his corpse, dispose of it somewhere, grab another bag, repeat. If those micromanaging things had been more cinematic where bots do it instead of you whole the time, while you do more shooting with some lesser micromanaging tasks, I could have enjoyed it more. Aiming and shooting feels awkward, and weapons are inaccurate most of the time. It is much different than the other first person shooters like Tactical Ops, Counter Strike, Call Of Duty and Medal Of Honor series, where you have the freedom to take your combat approach. Here it's all about robbing the buildings, using your limited resources to fight the police, doing tons of micromanaging, doing the shooting in between, grabing the loot, then repeat the whole thing over and over again.

I thought that you can't get falsely accused of being a modder and a cheater, and not get any explanation for your undeserved ban. I thought it's only the cheaters being mad with their negative reviews. What a fool I was...

Joke aside, this game is either take it or leave it, to be honest. It's the dullest and least fluid Call Of Duty compared to the previous ones (this excludes the later installments) regarding the gameplay. Despite all the patches there are movement bugs where even squashed soda-can can interrupt your movement. Sometimes I can't even climb up the stairs in bunkers. Maps are designed in such a manner that when you start playing it for the very first few times every fence top might seem like an enemy's head. You start shooting, and you blow up your cover by doing it. Prestige mode allows you to unlock 5 additional class slots (default number is 5), but you have to play an eternity to achieve that, 'cause you have to reach level 65 in every prestige level, and reset the game from the very beginning, starting playing all over again without the top-tier perks and weapons. Tanks are back, and that's something that Call Of Duty 2 lacked. Unfortunately, there are not much active multiplayer servers without mods. Playing multiplayer in normal setting is awful, 'cause you need the entire truck to supply you with ammunition in order to kill a single person. Play it in hardcore servers only, it's more realistic. Ha, and I dislike that multiplayer protection which made me buy this game. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

There are so many good and bad sides of this COD part, so I'll just recommend it, but without much enthusiasm. It's the last good Call Of Duty game actually. Also, it's a game from my teenage days. I'll never forget zombie mods playing with friends, and overall fun we had while playing ordinary multiplayer...

Its single player campaign can be played in multiplayer as well.

All in all, I can say it's one of the best First Person Shooters despite its flaws, and it's one of the best PC games overall.

Born in 1992. This game is my childhood, what else can I say. Bought it today (02. VII. 2016.) just to get the original key code, 'cause I'm tired of "key code already in use" and "invalid key code bla bla" bullsh*t. Gonna use it on my cracked version of the game as well. Excellent both single player campaign story and multiplayer maps. It's 13 years old game... damn, it still looks and feels as good.
