I think TF2 is the gold standard of hero-based shooters, evident by the fact that almost everything after it seems to try, and fail, at making itself a "TF2 Killer". One minute you could be fighting and killing like any standard multiplayer experience, the next you can be in a 60 man conga line across the map. Which is why it's sad that the biggest threat to the game's existence are a bunch of friendless middleschoolers who froth at the sight of a good game beating all their "flavor of the month" battle royales at longevity and basic fun. And since people with the ability to doxx and pipebomb these little ♥♥♥♥♥ are too ♥♥♥♥♥ to do it, then we'll have to wait for the devs to fix it. I'm not switching to another game or playing on the soulless, tryhard infested community servers
