Skyrim saw a strong modding scene, but that's in spite of Bethesda's practices, not because of them. Modding any creation engine game is a nightmare, because of the fundamental issue of how files are loaded, grown worse with Starfield

They're a company valued in the billions, but poor engine optimisation is YOUR fault
