So across the launch and 2 betas i've accumulated 150 hours or so of playtime. During that time I have wanted to punch a hole in my laptop screen 13 times. This anger is caused by the devs not being able to fix a myriad of known issues. I am not a hard person to please. I want a game that runs well, has a fun game play loop and doesn't crash 12 times in one match. Fatshark was only able to tick one of those boxes. The game is missing a ♥♥♥♥ load of features, them knowing about the crashes and not implementing a way to still get the XP, currency, crafting mats, etc if the game decides to say fk you and boot you at the end of the game is mind boggling. Snipers can shoot through walls (They do about 3 quarters of your health through toughness with 1 shot on Damnation difficulty), almost every enemy can spawn directly behind you while your back is turned making you take free hits over and over if you aern't on crack spinning 360 like a 12 y/o hopped up on mountain dew playing COD. Yes I know you can block in a 360 but the fact that one of the devs said "Yeah, ♥♥♥♥ the players, this is a great idea to build frustration" At the highest difficulty setting where the special spawns are already mental if you don't play on a lower intensity mode it just seems that the devs or their overlord TENCENT said push this hot garbage out now before we invade your country with our friends at the PRC. All in all with the stutter, lack of features (that were in VT2 at release btw), no crafting system, (Cash shop works though so if you wanna drown your sorrows on ♥♥♥♥ skins that prey on FOMO then fill your boots). Whoevers decision it was either TENCENT or Fatshark to release this game they dont deserve the initial $60 price tag let alone the money in the cash shop. If this is who Fatshark is as a developer now bending over and spreading for the chinese I will throw my money into another pot hoping I don't get ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
