Fantastic Game

I was profoundly and utterly blown away by this product and it has easily made it into my "Favorites" folder. The amount of content they managed to pack into this game honestly makes the download size seem small. The graphics are second to none, and although some places aren't perfect (i.e. Washington D.C.), it's still absolutely mind blowing. Especially if you're into general aviation, the sim will be your paradise.

In terms of complaints, I've heard people say the download is too long, it's too hard to run, or the game feels incomplete. At the end of the day: yes, it is a very hard game to run. If your PC is considered anything less than mid-range (read: $1000 plus and under 3-5 years old), honestly don't even bother with anything over 1080p @60fps. I don't have much experience with that resolution (I run 1440p on a GTX 1070) but I can tell you that on the ground, 60 is rarely achieved when looking about, however, in the air above a certain altitude, and if you refrain from moving the camera on the ground, it does run pretty smooth. You're also going to need a good and stable internet connection (this is a big one) that in reality shouldn't have a network cap. Let's face it, this game is the next Crysis and we're gonna need to wait for the next generations of computers to unlock its full potential. Thankfully though, I suspect the new 30 series from Nvidia will actually run the game quite nicely.
I feel like anyone complaining about the game being "incomplete" may not have much experience with flight simulators. At the end of the day, this is a simulator: not a traditional "game". Every simulator game (basically in history) has been released with somewhat more to be desired, as is just the nature of these games. All signs point to this being a long term project for Microsoft and Asobo, so you might as well buy it now as we likely won't see another rendition of the series for another 5-15 years.

The only real complaint I have about this game is the multiplayer system being buggy, but that will probably be on top of the fix list.

TL:DR: $120 very well spent.

An incredible game with an astounding community. I belive the developers have really hit a perfect middle point between historical signifigance and lagitimacy and a fun "Meme-friendly" enviorment. I highly reccomend this game if you want to meet some very funny and nice people. Physics are not world class, however this is excusable and the developers contine to improve it with every update.
