This game has improved massively with the new update. Most problems people had with the game were fixed and they even improved many other aspects about the game, including making it easier to mod. Rome remastered really is an improvement over the original now.

This game is really creative and I love the idea of it. Instead of being another war, grand strategy game it focuses more on the politics of of how different action effect the world, or your target country.

This game has good sandbox features as well as fun missions.

This game is really buggy. It's a big problem that even stops you from playing the game. For example at about the 2,000 or more turn mark the game will just flicker and there's no way to fix it. You can't load a saved game without the game crashing every time you try. This happens with other features as well as the "load" game option. The controls aren't that good either, this game looks like it was designed for mobile then badly ported to pc. I wouldn't recommend the mobile version either because it's just really laggy, even on the home page.

This isn't even the tip of the ice burg when it comes to the bugs. Some smaller and less game ruining bugs include the camera flicking away suddenly when you drag the screen. Most of my other problems with this game is the fact that it's poorly optimized for pc. For example when you want to increase something via a bar you cant use the scroll wheel you have to click the plus and minus symbols and some of the ways you have to edit relations in the custom map feature is just ridiculous and nonsensical.

Yes this game can be fun and has some really neat features in it but between the bugs and bad optimization I wouldn't recommend it. Any fun you do have in this game is short lived and get's tedious after having to start a new game every time you play or even go to the main menu.

This game is the best war strategy I've ever played, I would highly recommend this if you like war strategy games without all of the diplomacy stuff.

This game is great. There are plenty of game modes to keep you occupied. There are a load of single player campaigns to play. and If you get tierd of the base game there is plenty for the workshop to offer.
