Over 100 hours on Switch, and while the base release of Rise was a little underwhelming as a complete Monster Hunter experience, if very impressive for the system and as a portable successor to World, the Sunbreak expansion makes this into one of the most fun MonHun endgame experiences, with many of the series's most iconic flagship monsters available to hunt. This game might have the most dynamic collection of weapon movesets in the entire series, expanding on the Hunting Style system from Generations to great effect. This can leave some of the standard attacks borrowed from World feeling a little out of place, but this is hardly worth complaining about.

An excellent Monster Hunter experience, and a good bridge between the post-World era and what made portable MonHun so fun.
