Honestly, what can I say? This is just exactly how to do a licensed video game right. Obsidian do not mess around with filling this game with non-stop true to the nature of South Park references, quotes, and memorable moments. Every character that you can interact with is absolutely hilarious and the world (while small) is such an accurate representation of the show it felt like I was in an episode myself. The game is filled with so much humor and it was worth exploring every nook and cranny of the map and doing all the side quests available. Not only is an accurate representation of the show I was surprised by how well this game is as an rpg too. The looting is loads of fun, customization is pretty detailed, quests can be a blast even if they mostly are fetch quests, and I adore the farming and equipment as an rpg fan. Lastly, the combat is quite fresh and interesting. A lot of different elements to learn for combat and so many different playstyles available.

This game isn't perfect though but keep in mind the issues I have for the most part are very minimal. For one, the farting system while funny becomes extremely repetitive to get past certain parts of the game. The combat like I said is pretty great but that can also get repetitive when you fight a lot of the same enemies throughout the game but the boss fights are at least awesome. Quests while fun really do show how they don't have much variety outside the main ones because most if not all side quests are side quests but they're still fun though. I sadly say the biggest negative to the game is it's too short. I would've loved to see more quests, a longer storyline, and a bigger more varied map to explore because honestly I loved this game and wanted to do a lot more in it. Basically, I don't think this game warrants another playthrough unless trying different classes because the game will essentially play out the exact same way.

Overall, if you can grab this on a sale it's a must buy! Even if you're not a South Park I still recommend this game but keep in mind this is South Park and if you can't take a joke, this isn't the game for you. It doesn't try to hide behind anything and goes to quite extremes for its humor. It's a game trying to be offensive so keep that in mind before you purchase if you're too pure. Last reminder this game will only last 12-14hrs if you do everything so if you're looking for a massive amount of gameplay it won't offer that but it will offer plenty if you liked what I previously said.
