This game is legit terrible! I bought it for my friend and I to play multiplayer together and all we can do is race each other...no bots so we're just racing 1 v 1 all the time. You're forced into playlists instead of just doing one off races and you gotta race 3-4 races in a row for absolutely little pay where NFS Heat paid a good amount. The playlist idea is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ redundant and a waste of time and overall not fun at all.

Embarrassing multiplayer

This game is pretty fun and absolutely hilarious! It harkens back to the old NES hockey games but without any rules, 4 v 4, and is pixelated blood/gore. You got a few game modes like exhibition mode, tournament, challenge mode which offers random challenges to complete and franchise mode. Franchise mode is this games bread and butter! You take the role of a GM of a prison hockey league. You buy players, try and manage funds, manage the team by telling them what to eat, train, and can even buy drugs to help them improve skills or lose/gain weight. It's surprisingly vI ery in-depth Players can get injured on the ice and as a manager you have the decision to let them heal or...pull the plug on em. Players after fights can even end up fatally injured and die. Yeah, there's really no rules

I don't really have many criticisms for something so fun! The ref can be annoying I guess getting in the way. Your own AI doesn't really crash the net or play defense well. Fights are a little too often and repetitive and I guess as a whole the game does lose its charm after awhile. Like once you find a groove and learn how to frequently score, even the hardest modes start to become a cakewalk which is the only major complaint. One timers just work too well

I highly recommend it even at full price if you're a lover of hockey or something quirky and if on sale, it's pretty much a must-buy. If you're into 100 percenting games as well, this ones pretty easy to 100 percent, just a little time consuming.

It's kind of funny to think this game came from the creators of that horrendous Rambo game years ago. On top of making this, they just released Robocop and it has been quite loved by everyone it seems so quite a huge glow-up over time. This game is a pretty decent licensed movie/title game. Usually you see those and dread it but to be honest, this is surprisingly solid, although there is a lot of areas where it shows how low budget this is being a double a studio.

The writing isn't going to win any awards here but I gotta give credit that they made all the characters fleshed out enough to care about them. Dialogue isn't cringy thankfully and poignant or pretty straightforward. Sure, it's forgettable but it works with what the games going for and I was expecting it to be dreadful which isn't the case. Shooting mechanics are quite solid and enemy variety is decent enough. However, I will say it often feels like shots don't register for whatever reason. I do like the maps being a little open sections and the skill tree adds elements to the game. Scavenging for gear/weapons/loot was quite a fun gameplay loop although it did begin to get stale by the end, especially due to the abundance of supplies. Weapons and gunplay are decent and will surely get the job done but don't expect anything spectacular here. Story felt really connected with the Terminator lore and it really could've sat alongside the first two movies. Despite the graphics looking pretty bad too I do gotta hand it to them regardless that this game runs exceptionally well on PC with hardly any stutters or issues to boot. There is one strange problem though that if you own the DLC Annihilation Line, for some odd reason the 2nd map is a stutter fest...but only that? The game was perfect throughout except that and I looked into it and yeah, it's a common issue. Very strange as that map moving anywhere caused massive stutters but was fine after and anything before it...strange.

While I do find the game to be decent, there is a plethora of problems that really bring it down though. For one, map design is incredibly boring as just within 3-4 missions in you begin to realize they're all the same. Enemy ai is laughably bad and will forget you exist in seconds if you hide and just stand there shooting. So how do the devs make up for poor ai? Well by giving them pin-point accuracy barely ever missing shots on top of the most ridiculous, incredibly invasive and obstructive aim punch I've ever experienced in a singleplayer fps to date. Seriously, this aim punch is DREADFUL! I played the game on normal too and engaging against terminators until you fully deck out your skills is very punishing and really just not fun. They'll constantly hit you while soaking up all damage like sponges, even in the crit spots. Yes, this is also with my guns upgraded and skills almost max (you really don't feel a difference till damage/resistance are maxed). Considering half the game is engaging these things, they should've at least made them less bullet sponges.

I get this game is a double A game but these graphics are an eyesore to look at. Environmental detail and texture work is just painfully dull and character models remind me of the xbox 360 era. Graphics certainly don't make a game for me but this is quite ugly (least this drastically changed for Robocop). Voice acting is for the most part cromulent to a fault but there's also some others that stand out as horrendous or unfit. Another curiously baffling decision is just how eerily quiet this game is. Why is this game so devoid of music? You'll pretty much just hear one track throughout most maps playing as you scavenge and go about your mission with the same exact battle theme going any time you engage in combat. It's very lackluster as a soundtrack can really pull you in but I began to roll my eyes hearing the same thing over and over.

In conclusion, I do recommend this game and find it a worthy adventure but ONLY if you're a big fan of Terminator or just want to give a new small budget fps a try. Otherwise, I think you're better off elsewhere. It's also recommended not to spend much on this and just wait for a sale as I can't justify 40 dollars for this. 15 or less, that seems reasonable.

6.5-7/10 is about the range i'd give this game. Nothing spectacular but hey, it was enjoyable.

P.S. If there are people who care about 100 percenting games or like doing that to easier games from to time to time. This is a very easy title to 100 percent and does not take much time so look into that if you care to.

Admittedly this is one of the strangest games I've played but what an absolute blast! The gameplay of just rolling everything into the katamari and just rolling around the maps is so relaxing and fun. The game has an amazing soundtrack too and is an overall joy!

Only two negatives I can really give is one to the port which is causing horrendous pop-in making objects only appear until like two feet in front of you and it's a universal issue. I hope it gets fixed! And the other...it's too short! I want more! Seriously unless you go for achievements this game is only about 4-5hrs but I just crave more!

Absolutely loved this little gem! Gotta give credit to the man Jerma985 for discovering this game through his old streams. Favorite streamer for a reason because not only is he hilarious he really has unique indie tastes and finds diamonds in the rough like this. Can't recommend this enough!

I'll start off by saying I was a major fan of the first Dying Light! I put a good amount of hrs into my first play-through and thoroughly enjoyed it. It had its shortcomings, mainly in story/missions but overall was a blast to play. Fast forward a few years later came the announcement of Dying Light 2 and I couldn't have been more excited. Now that I've actually beat it...I can say this is a very big disappointment

By no means would I call Dying Light 2 necessarily a bad game though, it's just one that feels like a major downgrade compared to the first and given that the first is 8 years old now, that's not good. I do love the graphics of this game as it's downright gorgeous and on top of that PC performance outside of a few hitches/stutters runs pretty damn smooth. Parkouring is just as addictive as ever and the main focus of traversal throughout the game and beating up zombies is definitely satisfying but that's really all I can say. Basically it's areas improved upon the first in some ways but very minuscule and the areas they really missed on why people loved the original were monumental missteps.

I swear the devs completely misunderstood what made the first game so beloved. First off, why did they feel the need to add this arbitrary rpg system for the game with useless level items for weapons and equipment? Let me tell ya, the gear levels make hardly any difference at all. The introduction of inhibitors to level stamina/health instead of just upgrading skills is also beyond stupid on top of the fact most can only be found at night.Speaking of night, until a recent update night/day were barren and had no zombies or special infected. So what's the solution? Let's now make nighttime so filled with volatiles it's almost impossible to maneuver around without a chase. Also in regards to skills, who's bright idea was it to make the skills this insanely grindy to level? It's a singleplayer game, co-op with friends, there's no PVP mode so what benefit is there to making this such a chore? For context, it took me roughly 20 hrs to unlock all skills in the original. After beating Dying Light 2 with 28hrs put in, I still have about 10 skills on both parkour and combat and funnily enough the skills in this game seriously lack any impact to overall gameplay and are quite boring again where as the first really changed the game. This game also suffers immensely from Ubisoftitus where the game has hundreds of activities to do but they're the same cookie cutter copy and paste things you see in every game to date with little to no variation. It's boring and lazy.

The real killer of this game though is just how miserable the writing, questing, and characters are. I'll admit the original didn't exactly have a fantastic story but I least enjoyed Crane and Jade and her brother were decent characters as well. Side quests in the original too were also a lot more fun. I opted to pretty much avoid side missions in this as they all tendto play out the same and were just non-stop fetch quests. The main missions don't fair much better with long drawn out sections mindless climbing and dull action. However, what drags this game completely is the characters and writing. Seriously, I don't like a single character here! The motivations don't match nor are any of them likeable! Lawan especially is one of the worst written female characters I've experienced in quite some time. The endings though are truly the main problem as it's quite honestly terrible regardless which one you get AND is pretty much a really bad ripoff of The Last of Us ending. There's just too many convenience's within the story, characters showing up, god awful plot twists (seriously that ending plot twist is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid! 28 hrs for that twist is laughable). Forgot to mention too the final boss battle with Waltz is HORRENDOUS! I cannot believe a boss battle this bad made it into the final product.

I had some enjoyment with it but this is a pretty miserable sequel in comparison to the first which I love and even played recently and still found 1000x better. So no, I don't recommend this as it's just boring as hell, a chore to play, and written so poorly. I can only see it being worth it if playing with friends for co-op purposes but in truth, there is a ton of better co-op options than this.

It's not terrible per say but it's certainly not that good either. Keep in mind I played this solo so its issues are far more pronounced where I feel it'd definitely be more tolerable with friends.

This game is surprisingly pretty good! Least, if we’re talking in the way of gameplay it’s quite a blast. Shooters rarely feel all that great when actually utilizing their gameplay but bulletstorm does it right. There’s so many unique ways to kill enemies and the gunplay feels very fresh and well done. Using the leash to whip enemies into spikes/electricity, kicking enemies off the map, sniping that has a bullet actually maneuver to how you control it like in the film Wanted. It’s all pretty fantastic and there’s a good amount of enemy variety for sure. Only real problem is there’s a distinct lack of amount of weapons and for some dumb reason you’re limited to 3 despite a weapon changing station every 2mins making it pointless not just having a scroll wheel. Also, the assault rifle is utterly useless beyond the first hour of the game and you cannot swap it out.

My main gripe with this game comes from entirely the writing of the characters, story, and their dialogue. Jesus Christ, this dialogue is pure cringe. Homoerotic jokes, ♥♥♥♥ jokes, 5 year old humor every where and don’t get me wrong I can find this funny but it’s never ending. They’re not well written characters nor are they likable, well except Ishi but even he is so straightforward. The games overall plot is the most barebones to the point revenge story you could ever think of. What pisses me off to the highest degree though is you spend 5-6 hrs playing this game for quite honestly the biggest blue balls ending you could ever imagine. It literally makes the entire point of the game and why you played it almost null by the time you finish it. It is so unsatisfying and what’s worse is making the final moment of the game on top of this done with a QTE event too. I can’t stress how bad this ending was, it really knocked the game down a few pegs from it alone.

All in all, it’s a decent game if you’re looking for a different kind of shooter out there with some outdated mechanics and whatnot. Just…don’t expect good writing or an ending and if you can excuse an atrocious ending I mean it’s worth a shot. It’s pretty much a mind numbing shooter where you just go around and shoot ♥♥♥♥ and have fun, the story tries its best to be compelling but it’s miserable. Still, gameplay makes this enjoyable enough so on a sale, definitely worth it.

Currently playing on a RTX 3070 with a 13700K Raptor Lake and 32 gbs ram. Only playing at 1080p and the game barely ca maintain 60 fps in non high intensive areas and god forbid you reach Atlantis or anything fps tanks. Even using FSR 2.0 with 75 scaling and all optimized settings from digital foundry/hardware unboxed the game is still an unstable/unoptimized ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess. When is this going to stop with Triple AAA games? This game also does not look anywhere near as good to be struggling to maintain this quality especially on these types of cards/cpu's.

I'm sure the game is great, honestly for what little I played I was enjoying it but I'm not going to spend 70 plus dollars for something to run this poorly on hardware way more then capable of running these types of games. I can run other much more graphically intense games and have great performance but once again Bethesda fails to ever optimize their games unless you're running a 4080-4090 paired with the best CPU as well. I guess that's what Todd meant by upgrading! Yet this was clearly only addressed when it came to the consoles as PC performance is shockingly bad.

I'll probably enjoy this and love it down the line when I do upgrade or this game gets optimized but as of right now, I cannot recommend it or waste my time with it when performance is this bad. There's just no excuses for it for this day and age.

I wanted to love this game, I really really did. However, after giving it a fair chance and playing it I have to say that out of all overwhelmingly positive review games I've played, this is the first one I legit think is overrated garbage drivel! I have to wonder if people are just letting things go because the uniqueness in combat (very little but some) or the art direction.

I'll start with what I like, the art direction is genuinely incredible! It's got a polished beautiful anime style look with crisp animation, movement, and the world plays to the tunes/beats making the game world feel in part with the game pretty well. Optimization is absolutely stellar! No issues to report whatsoever and while it's not majorly demanding, it's nice ot see a game not filled with bugs/glitches. I think the characters are entertaining and likeable and 808 is flat out adorable. The music is pretty fantastic as well. Anyway...that's kind of about it on the positive side. Oh, voice acting is stellar too, i'll give it that.

I thought I was going to love this combat but man is it AWFUL. Staying on beat barely rewards anything really and half the time the inputs to finish a combo do not even work. I've had multiple cases where I press A or X to finish a combo and it works fine and then others do the same exact thing and nothing. On top of that the game introduces halfway through a parry system which is BY FAR the worst element they added to this game. In combat you'll often have enemies that can only be defeated by parrying and all it does is make this already slowed down combat even worse. You'll have tons of enemies on screen but the camera does everything in its power to ruin you. Why in the ♥♥♥♥ is there no targeting system in a game like this? On top of that, why is there no timing window or indicator for parry's/oncoming attacks from behind. This is basic stuff that is almost all games of this nature yet it's nowhere to be found. Let's also not forget the "partner" system where you can call in on of the characters to perform specific duties depending on enemy type. At some point you'll go against shielded, fire, and armored enemies requiring you to use each partner accordingly. However,, what makes this games combat system so godawful is just how many enemies they'll throw at once. Let's throw in 3 enemies requiring all 3 switching between partners, while also parrying laser rifle enemies, while parrying samurai's/flying buzzers and don't forget your combo's! Is this made for young teens on adderall or just zoomers in general? Plus, might as well add that on the screen is non-stop flurries of explosion, color, parry timers it becomes way too much to pay attention to at once.

This games general gameplay loop is one of the most boring I've come across. Again, for a game with this much acclaim, I don't understand how people let it slide here but other games that do the same thing get bashed so much for. A level in this game consist of 80 percent of awful platforming and 20 percent combat. The platforming is atrocious where chai's movement feels twenty years behind the likes of good platformers like Crash Bandicoot. I mean even the simplest of jumps barely feel like you make it due to how rigid and stiff the movement is. The levels all tend to blend into one and while the environments may look a little different, the way they're designed is uninspired and downright repetitive. Exploration in this is also just a laughable joke! Looking for collectibles is literally just looking to the right or the left in a room, under the stairs, etc on your linear pathway. Even if you manage to find notes to read You can still make collectibles/exploration interesting in a linear game, look at the Metro games for example. Also, what in the actual ♥♥♥♥ is this game utter obsession with turning the entire 2nd half of the game into a QTE slog? Almost every parry enemy slows the game down for a QTE, opening chests, using partners to call, and doing minute tasks to progress the story. Might as well mention too that the Korsica boss fight might the worst designed boss fights I've had the displeasure of playing in a game...least one with so much "acclaim"

The story in itself is also entirely cliched and filled with every damn trope imaginable. Clueless moron works for an organization they believe is good despite the obvious problems and situations in front of them, takes the main character for them to realize it despite it staring at them the entire time. Typical organization is bad, we need to take it down plot-line but not interesting or taking the cliche and doing something new with it. Plenty of times this has been done and at times really well but this is just meh as the story goes. The humor is also so incredibly forced it becomes quite cringy and annoying.

I'm not joking, out of all overwhelmingly positive games I've played, this is the first I actually have true disdain for. How people are calling this GOTY or 10/10 anything in the light makes me wonder if they even played it. Most reviews are people with only 1-2 hrs in. I have only 2hrs left in this game and it feels like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slog to get through. I've never felt before like a gun was pointed my head in order to finish something till I played this.

Game is just genuinely overrated garbage and I do not like to call well received/liked games like that but this is the first I can REALLY say that too. Sure I gave skyrim a negative in my reviews here but it was really just a joke at Skyrim where is Hi-Fi Rush is a joke. I absolutely hate this game and I'm super annoyed I missed the refund time window (seriously steam 2hrs or 14days is such a terrible system. Some games to try and get to fix can take an hr or two and 14 days should be a month)

I want my $30's back for much better indie titles than this. I love indie games, this is just not good...in the slightest. People are really overhyping this drivel

This game is just an utter masterpiece on how to do a remake and revitalize an old classic. Everything that was outstanding about the original has been re-worked in such a fantastic way. The visuals are massive improvement obviously and seeing them run on this gorgeous new Capcom engine is a site to behold. Combat is so fluid and engaging throughout the entire game and enhanced even further than the original. For one of course being able to move while aiming but the responsiveness in shooting, the enemy stuns, and the way everything feels is so smooth. I also adore the new treasure system allowing for allocating gems into certain jewelry for added bonuses. The return of the fan favorite merchant is back with a great new side mini-game the shooting gallery which can earn you trinkets for your suitcase that can help with certain things like more ammo when crafting, better health upon eating items, etc. On top of that, there's new side missions available which can be done to win exclusive awards from the merchant as well and they never feel out of place.

There's so many things I love about this game compared to the original, like the much more of a focus of this being a scarier experience. From the knights room, to the terrifying Verdogo fight, or everyone's worst fear the Regenaradors the game does an excellent job of raising tension and fear much more the second time around. I love exploring the map, finding treasures, looting everything possible, it's a true survival horror experience. All the characters are extremely well done and I gotta hand it to them for making this story much more fleshed out and mature. The original was a bit too campy/cringy and now it's handled in a much better way with a few pieces of one-liner classics here and there from Leon of course. Ashley's ai is a bit improved and her as a character is far more interesting and likeable than before. Graphics look incredible, combat/boss fights are amazing, all 3 major sections are done brilliantly, it just culminates into a true tried and true survival horror masterpiece.

Now as much as I loved this game, it does have some issues but mainly it's PC port problems, not really much in gameplay. Unfortunately this game does have unavoidable traversal stutter meaning loading into new areas will cause a first noticeable hit but thankfully it's a quick second or two before returning to normal. The other is Chapter 5, for some reason this chapter is insanely unoptimized pretty much across this board with tons of users complaining regardless of rigs of extremely significant fps drops, myself included and no patch has ever addressed this sadly. The island, least on my rig has some noticeable frame issues here and there but it's thankfully not enough to cause major deterrence. Otherwise the game does run pretty smooth. I just wish this games camera was similar to 2-3 remaster as this one has a weird lunge forward effect whenever leon walks which is kind of distracting and can feel like stutters when you're actually not. Anyway, as for gameplay, only really big complaint is the stun damage issue. Sometimes Leon when hit will stay stunned and instead of an invincibility frame or two you'll take another hit which can lead to unfair deaths quite often and raise frustration.

In short, this a 10/10 masterpiece! I was expecting something great with this game but they delivered on all cylinders and I'm in love with this! Game of the year so far, easily!

I absolutely adore this game! I'm a huge fan of WWII shooters and the history of it all in general and have been looking forever for a good realistic or at least hardcore game based around it and this is perfection. Every game feels so authentic and a huge adrenaline rush! I love the different roles you can play, how dynamic the gameplay is, the chaos of it all etc. I can easily find myself putting tons of hours into this and am already addicted as all these hours have come within just one month of play. I don't think i've played a game recently that has me this ingrained into it and just begging me to play it more and more.

The gunplay in most RTS shooters lately is a major let down but HLL gets it pretty well, actually exceptionally. I love engagements in this game especially as a team making that final push together or holding down the last point in a tough tit for tat match that has constant momentum swings. Each role feels so unique and fun to play. Anti-tank and machine gunner playing such big support roles and can be huge game changers by being a gunner laying down suppressive fire so your squad can make the push to a point. The use of smokes to really get to a point with little cover. Even just playing basic roles like rifleman is a blast as long as you can contribute to your squad/commander and team. Nothing feels more rewarding either in most games than fighting your way behind enemy lines to then destroying their outposts/garrisons so they can't spawn really shifting the entire tide of the match. I cannot praise this game enough truly! If you want a realistic/authentic WWII shooter with a high learning curve but incredibly fun and unique gameplay, look no further. That being said, it's not perfect and I want to focus on some things real quick that might make people hesitant to be aware of.

I love this game but there does stem quite a few issues which I'll list here.

1. HORRRENDOUS PC performance. Even on high end hardware this game will stutter and have lots of fps drops. It's far from unplayable but it's incredibly annoying. Some youtube videos will make it more stable but there's no fix entirely. The Stalingrad map especially comes to mind as incredibly unoptimized.

2. Artillery is a joke and way to op in this game. Can sit back and rack up 100-200kills a match if untouched which leads to me saying that the recon/artillery meta currently in game is the WORST loop in any game...period for shooters. Artillery is too op and Recon is tasked with instead of using a sniper to make strong pushes with the team/destroying garrisons on flanks or defending heavily, instead tasked with going across the map to kill arty players, sit for 10mins and wait. If they get back on arty later, gotta run all the way back. IT SUCKS! I know commanders won't be happy when i say this but I refuse if I get sniper role to play into this garbage meta which the devs admitted needs work.

3. No Tutorial! I find this to be an incredibly dumb decision to not have one for new players especially with so many systems at play. I mean at least tell players the difference between warfare/offensive and how important garrisons are.

4. The last major one i'd say is the basic fact that leveling up classes is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the sense of the amount of time it requires to get it. I'm 60 hrs in just about....I'm barely lvl 2 in almost any class and it takes till lvl 6 to really feel the classes true powers...why would you make it such a ludicrous grind to unlock these things? I've seen players with 1k hours that still don't have classes maxed. On top of that, and while I'm not huge on achievements, I still do like sometimes 100 percent games or going for some but dear lord....could you ask for more unrealistic unattainable achievements as devs? To ever 100 percent this game this would have to be the only game someone would play and play it like a 9-5 job. The ♥♥♥♥ are some of these ?

Anyway, despite some major issues, overall I absolutely love this game and cannot put it down. Between the incredible addictive gameplay, the adrenaline from firefights or holding down sectors or rushing to take one, to just helping your squad/commander relay info or help build support nodes/fortifications, I've yet to be this enthralled with a shooter in ages. This is easily my newest multiplayer addiction and I for one wish I was playing this sooner. Here's to hoping they iron out some gameplay issues, fix the pc performance, and that the community continues to grow. I love this game!
