I waited FIVE MONTHS for this dlc, with lots of hype and love for the franchise and for FromSoft, just to get everything spoiled on social medias, after only NINE DAYS after release, because it's a trend and every braindead content creator has to get views. Thanks for ruining everything for people who can't play 24/7. Cheers.

PoP the forgotten sands takes place between the events of "Sands of Time" and "Warrior Within" (the best title from the original trilogy in my opinion).
The story is completely unrelated to the events in the main storyline. Going to visit your borther Malik, you find him in battle with some other population. Trying to defeat them he wants to unleash the army of Solomon hidden under the city. In doing so they unleash some sort of magical sand which is unrelated to the "Sands of Time", that spawns enemies and a big angry fella.
Without making more spoilers, the powers you obtain seem to be related to other kind of magic.

-- "Sand Powers": the only power comparable to the original ones is the time rewind. End of the story.

-- "Magical Powers": There are four kind of powers you can unlock and upgrade. Tho you only really need one, "Windwirl".

-- "Power Ups": this game is set almost like an RPG. Doing enemies you gain some xp. Each time you get an amount of XP to reach to obtain a point you can spend in the upgrade wall. In one playthrough you can't possibly unlock every perk, or should i say that's what i think it is. Some enemies can spawn other enemies, but these won't give you XP points.

-- "Dialogues": Speaking for my language, the dialogues were well voice acted. Though i skipped almost every cutscene cause i wasn't that interested in the storyline as soon as i saw few of them.

-- "Parkour": in this game they made parkour skills more wide. Now you can also wall-run after jumping on a wall and make other actions. Through the story you get other powers that make puzzles and parkour more challenging and fun, involving even a sort of teleport-ish jump to enemies. Some parkour sections are unnerving due to wrong collisions and directionless jumps that make you waste some rewinding "sands". Also sometimes it is difficult to see and understand which wall you have to walk on (water sections most times).

-- "Weapons": There is only one weapon you can obtain beside the initial one. Needless to say that this last weapon is overpowered af making fights even more meaningless.

-- "Combat": The fights are pretty easy and repetitive. There is no need to use heavy attacks, you can just rely on light attacks only. There is no acrobatic combat in this game. You just have to go around and fight, just like that. There isn't even a parrying mechanic!!!!!
Some fights are "difficult" in the sense that you get hit by big enemies for chance.

-- "Enemies": few enemies that are reused over and over.

--"Traps": traps are the classic ones, pretty easy. Though some are nasty thanks to wrong collision system or simply awful (i.e. the swinging logs).

--"Bossfights": Pretty straightforwards. Just stand between legs and move when bosses do AOE attacks.

-- "Playtime": this game is even shorter than a standard PS2 game. Ended in like 7 hours,

-- "Visuals": visually the game is very well made, rooms, buildings, area designs are very good and pleasing to see. Good textures and lighting.

-- "Music and sound": Musical background isn't very noticeable or memorable as in Warrior Within.

Moving to conclusions. Is it worth buying? Only when on Sale for very few bucks. This game in my opinion can't stand a comparison with the original games in the trilogy. There is no variety in fights, just one weapon and so on as you have just read earlier. It is a fun game, after all, so you should give it a try. 6/10

Got all 33/33 cherubs, didn't trigger achievement.

A very excellent game, that surpasses its predecessor in many aspects.
A more wide range of weapons, each with its unique environmental/puzzle purpose, without the need to upgrade them at specific locations. Although the first Blasphemous set the quality levels very high, this game doesn't fail them.
The developers made a good use of the platforming merged with the powers of each weapon. There are enough puzzles, not very difficult and funny to solve. Visuals are great and so is the music.
One thing to mention, in my opinion, is that the style of the cinematics breaks the atmosphere, while using pixel art was one of the main, and appealing, feature of the first game.
Also i think that fewer rosary beads and prayers compared to the previous one you can't enable someone to achieve the same level of combinations as in the previous one. Yes there is the new mechanic of the wooden statues with power ups, and it is good, thinking that they are required to obtain something (i won't say more).
About the difficulty of the game, i think they made this one easier, and more player-friendly, than the first. The last boss is way easier than the one that comes right before it.

In conclusion what can i say about this game?
Blasphemous 2 is a very, very good game. Not very challenging than the first, but is satisfying.
I played it since its release, and i couldn't stop. Literally. I played all day long for four days straight. I would recommend this game to ANYONE, not only the people that like castlevania-like games or even only the fans of the first game.
I don't think i'll ever enjoy another game more than this. Maybe Blasphemous 3!!

I couldn't help but buy the Supporter Pack. It's incredible that two people reached to make this gem. Can't wait for other games from them. Thank you.

A very classic game that will make you feel nostalgic.
Trash controls and awful jump system. Also music doesn't play.
I recommend it if you are easily subjet to anger.

I'm writing this review once i've 100% completed the game.
This game is one of my favorites of all time, if not the one.
Character design, as graphics, as music , as level design , as storyline is just perfect and also the game is filled with funny jokes. It makes you want to continue going on and explore every single corner. The User Interface is minimal, but it isn't such a problem, it fits perfectly with the game. Some secrets are very well hidden (otherwise they'll not be secrets ).
Bossfights are fun to play as long you get frustrated on failing multiple times, but in the end they take you three-four tries.
There's just a small "Con" on this game that one could point out, and that's maybe a system of fast travel when you unlock all the doors , it would be useful when you have to walk a long way in end-game phases.

Can't believe this game was made with Unity3D. I want to congratulate with the devs and artists ad all the people who worked on this project! IT IS AWESOME!!!
100/10 would recommend!

The sequel to the rebooth "DOOM (2016)" hits the player with a slightly different combat style. As soon as we start we are rounded by strong enemies that force us to improve our movement while shooting and take count of every bullet that we fire. The various challenges that we encounter are a little bit frustrating sometimes, but never tiring, and make you look forward to complete them. Yes, maybe to comprehend deeply the story you have to read log files that you find on levels, but the overall image is clear: Rip and Tear hellish demons to save the Earth after the events of the prequel. The quality of the models is impressive, every detail was carefully defined. The programming and the scripting is artfully done. The soundtrack is awesome. Nothing more than an honest 10/10. One last thing, remember that the only thing they fear... IS YOU!
