Good story/RPG but really tough to go back to these mechanics.

My introduction to the Fallout franchise, aside from watching my older brother play Fallout 3 years ago, was in Fallout 4. I fell in love with it and figured I'd try some of its predecessors (after not liking 76). I've heard from a lot of people that NV is the best, but I really think that comes down to what you're used to, at the end of the day. I've put a little bit of time into NV to get used to the controls and mechanics, but I still really enjoy 4 a lot more. Doesn't mean it's a better game, that's just my preference.

Overall, is gud. Stopped playing because I don't have enough caps to buy one of the rocket components I need for that mission and my speech isn't good enough to negotiate the price. Who knows, maybe I'll pick it up again someday though.
