Nothing but love for this game. I experienced no toxicity at all from any of the players (it's recommended to play on Server 2 for new players, as Server 1 is where the old vets hang out). The game takes a bit of getting used to, but you will easily get the hang of the controls, as they have included some nice tutorials for the infantry and logistics side of things. Gameplay is fun in a way that FPS games like Battlefield and Call of Duty can't achieve, don't get me wrong, I love my FPS games, but Foxhole is just something else. "Insane" is the word I described it as when talking to other players and they concurred.

If you're a WWII nerd or just like this style of game I would definitely recommend it. I thought I might end up refunding it before my 2 hour play mark, but alas I found myself pulled into the game that time just faded away. And time will fade away, as it's so easy to get sucked into the WWII experience and shake yourself out of it in the early morning hours - there's a reason why some squads in-game are called "4 am crew" .

You cannot win the war alone, no matter how good you are, teamwork is essential, no... ESSENTIAL for victory. Wars last many days, so you will have a chance to experience every aspect of it.

When starting out, just ask for someone to teach you the ropes, it's likely that most players will be busy with the war effort, but you may find someone to help you. If no one is available, just look and learn, that's where you will get most of your experience from.

Hopefully I'll see you in-game, whether it be on the front lines or in logistics. Cheers ; )
