And the thing is, about I'd say 30% of the time, the people who claim Jailor day 1 aren't even Jailor, and the majority of people who claim Jailor day 1 to me are mostly townies. Often the real Jailor doesn't do anything about them and makes the problem worse. That is what pisses me off the most about this change, it just ruins the fun I have in this game and it's just so annoying.
Also, just for the record, they made it so that Ambusher and Hypnotist can be in non coven game modes now.
anyway, cheers! at the end of the day TOS is a race for information, and these strategies speed that up.
but one thing I want to clear up is its pure miss-understanding to think these are dumb strategies (atleast not entirely)
VFR is kind of silly because some people will do it entirely randomly, rather then voting up people who have been suspicious, regardless of whichever its still a net positive. What this does is force evils to claim a role, and be committed to it. it **FORCES** them to fight with other real town members claiming the spot. As you start getting a good feel for who is actually town(and people who claimed x role look worse because of someone dying), it makes hunting them down easier as you fill the role list. again, I completely get how this isnt fun to play into.
