Then level up a bit and get a follower, when I first tried to do it, I couldn't either but I persisted with side quests, I can do it easy as now and if you can't be bothered doing that, that's always cheating, legally, just hit tilde ~ and type tgm, hit enter, good move enabled

You do know there is a sprint key right and that stuff won't follow you forever? If you can't kill it, run... it works.
