A good game for ancient history geeks. Altrough I like it, it has some negative aspects as well. The graphics look oldschool, just the way I like it and isn't quite hard to spot anything suprising.
Just to pick up some negative things...

Cons ~
~Senate missions barely sometimes impossible to make.
~Quite challeging for playing on very hard difficulty.
~bad AI mechanics.
~Cavary > everything else besides spearman.
~Hoplite phalanx buggy.
~Impossible to counter horse archers while they have ammo.
~Should have more factions (for exp. Massilia, Illyria).

Overall, I rate it as 8 roman legions out of 10.
