Hi, I'm Hund and I am a pretty chill Furry, but there are certain things that can and will tick me off

- Making jokes that me, and the Furry Community, have intercourse with animals
- Calling me names or slurs and claiming it's a joke or "friendly banter"
- Bullying my friends or innocent players for no reason
- And being an egotistical, narcissistic, fun-hating lowlife

Other than that, I am a normally nice and quiet person. I'm only a ♥♥♥♥ when you instigate it. Here are also some things I will not do, so don't bother commenting about it

- Trading certain items. If I never listed it for sale on backpack.tf, you're not getting it, I'm sorry
- Selling my backpack. I may need the cash, but I wasted years getting my stuff, I won't throw it away
- Random friend requests. If we met before, and I liked you, I'll add. If not, please don't, it's rare I'll add you
- Typical Scams. I'm not stupid, you scammers are genuine idiots, I'm not falling for it
- Tacobot.tf. Just call me an ape and be done with it. Your group is cancer and the MvM bots are more useful than you jerks

Other than that, welcome to my profile. If you actually read this description, thank you, you're actually one of the few smart people who commented. Most of the ones I get are said jerks, but the rest are friends. Have a good morning/day/afternoon/night

I expected this game to be a good time, being essentially a threesome of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and either Neon Genesis Evangelion or Nier: Automata, and I was left bored, confused, and disappointed. I do have some positives though, despite my negative experience

+ The puzzles, most of them at least, were actually interesting and creative. The X-Ray with the card and the Microphone in the deeper areas were some of my favorite, though the final puzzle was annoying with all the back-tracking
+ Visuals were really damn nice, especially when the game goes first person, subverting a few expectations I had going in
+ Music, while being a bit too similar to Silent Hill, was good at creating tension, even though it was too sparsely used in normal combat due to how easy the combat was and how easily you can just run from literally everything

I do have a lot more negative things to say than I do positive though

- The game is too easy, given the prior "You can just run from everything" statement
- The six inventory limit, and by proxy the immense amount of backtracking, ruins the enjoyment of the game. It adds tedium, not tension. The areas and the enemies don't give a real threat to think backtracking is worth it
- You can get locked out of areas with no warning at certain parts. Example being when you get the elevator key card. There's ammo for the shotgun up there, but you don't have one. Thinking you can just go back, you head down to level three and you can't use the elevator anymore and, lo and behold, the shotgun is there; With no extra ammo cause you didn't think you'd be stuck here or that the gun was even this close
- The story is a complete mess that leaves way too much up to interpretation to be even a bit enjoyable. I spent the entire game thinking this was like Dead Space: A mining colony finds an artifact or a long-dormant virus that infects the area, driving some mad and the rest to kill as mindless monsters. Nope... it's much more confusing and only a little speckle is given to you
- The endings... I won't explain them, but rather the method to unlock them, except the "true" ending. It makes me hate the main character a lot and it frustrates me to no end
- The enemy design seems to take way too much inspiration from Silent Hill than it should. Basic enemies look like Nurses, the leg enemies remind me of the Closers, the boss in the deepest area is like Abstract Daddy mixed with the cage monsters

I really wanted to like this game, especially since a lot of people are saying this is the next step in the horror genre. So was Callisto Protocol, and that game failed on launch. I'm not saying Signalis failed on launch, or at all, since it's at 97% positive, but to me it fails to capture me on the themes, story, characters and gameplay. The Dead Space remake, Resident Evil 7, even Barotrauma are much more scary, have a more coherent story that people can understand or theorize about, and doesn't make gameplay revolve around backtracking every few minutes because your inventory was full on the supplies it handily gives out on a dime.

Don't let the negative review of one person stop you from loving this game. Personally, this is not what horror should be going forward, and that's just one man's opinion

Heck yeah, got one of my threads locked cause some people decided to be brain dead and just insult, rather than just be nice people and be constructive. I'm not mad, Leo, you were one of the few people there that had a brain in the entire 6 pages of comments
