A fun and interesting time, though if you're like me and you found this game via its MetroidVania listing, you might be displeased as in my opinion this game plays closer to something like an action adventure take on platformers like say Rayman on the PS1. Linear levels with (at times) another end point which then sends you back to a world map to then find and finish another level. finish each area with a boss level, gain a new power and its onto the next. To Be Clear, I am not at all saying thats a bad thing, the game itself is really fun and enjoyable. It's just a fair warning to those looking at this from the MetroidVania perspective, which this game is listed in. Regardless still an simple yet fun story of the young upstart Flynn as he discovers his heritage of his parents in a world threatened by a dark power. All in all a great time.
