The game has an interesting concept, and an excellent feeling combat system, but there's not enough content and too many bugs to recommend. You're better off playing either Nioh 2 or Sekiro. With DLC coming up, I have hopes that at the very least, the minimal amount of content will be fixed, but right now, it's just not worth the cost. 6/10

Gameplay:
This game takes clear inspiration from FromSoftware's Sekiro, and Team Ninja's own Nioh franchise. The gameplay consists of completing linear levels, most with a large boss at the end. Each level has several branching pathways, with flags to collect along the way. The combat is rather similar to Sekiro, relying heavily on deflections. The game has ~30 bosses, but for players experienced in the genre, each one will probably take only a few tries. The main issue is that despite the variety of weapons, each one feels the same. Most bosses rely on the player deflecting special attacks to build up a bar, and then performing a critical hit, which really functions the same no matter what weapon the player is using. It feels excellent, but it lacks the depth of other games to make it shine. 8/10

Graphics:
Somehow, the game is visually worse than the previous game, Nioh 2. Many models seem low-poly, and most textures are a fairly low resolution. The player model and weapons, as well as the bosses, are really similar to Nioh 2, to the point that you could believe that you were fighting bosses from that game. 6/10

Bugs/Performance:
This game is really hurt by the bugs and performance issues. Even at the time of writing, after the first few patches, and on an above-recommended PC, the game constantly stutters, and occasionally crashes. The crashing I can forgive, but in a game that so heavily relies on timing, the stuttering really hurts the experience, forcing you to try and predict when the stuttering will occur. 4/10

If you're a fan of the harry potter series, this is alright. If you're not, there are better games to play. An overall 6.25/10

Gameplay:
The combat is roughly the same as every major title to come out in recent times, (i.e. a parry, a basic hit, and a dodge, with some other stuff thrown in). It's not bad, but it's nothing special. Traveling around the world is a bit slow, especially early on, but there's enough interesting things to look at that it's okay. There are a few irritating minigames that take forever, and there are more misc collectible than needed, but overall, the gameplay is a solid 7/10. Not bad, not great.

Story:
Rather bland, but passable. It's very much a game where you sit, listen to someone tell you the story, then play, repeating throughout. 5/10

Graphics:
Kind of meh. The textures on the highest settings are a little lower than I'd prefer, and there's a noticeable pop-in of models at times. The character and monster models are pretty good through, and the character customization is good enough. The world also feels very alive, particularly in the castle, where there are almost always students rushing around, relaxing, or simply chatting. 7/10

Bugs/performance:
This game has a few smaller bugs that are to be expected in modern games, but I did encounter a game-breaking bug where I fell out of the world when something loaded in on top of me. As you cannot fast travel while falling, this forced me to revert back to an earlier save. In addition, the world is semi-open. There are loading screen when fast traveling (acceptable), and doors will sometime refuse to open as the world loads in behind them, (less acceptable). The doors in particular ruin the illusion of an unbroken world. 6/10
