The first thing I need to say; this game has a lot of sharpening to do.
Yet, I don't understand what people are crying about.
The graphics and storyline caught me instantly, it's so interesting to follow. As someone who played DD:DA it got me hooked almost immediately.
I do have to say that the controls and movement do seem to be based on controller a lot, which I personally find pretty sad because I like to play with mouse and keyboard. Then again, this is Capcom and they have favored controller input a lot in the past (Monster Hunter being a good example).
This game has a lot of potential and even if it's not what a full release should be (then again, which games are nowadays, tbh) it is playable, and for me, enjoyable. Even tho I hope they'll update performance and controls in the future (especially the fact that you can reset keybindings).

Now to the "you have to spend money to make a new character" crap. Honestly, if people are stupid enough to spend money on that, it's their fault. Because you certainly do not have to. I restarted my first campaign without spending a dime because I did not like how my character looked in the end.
Don't believe all the bs they post in the reviews just because they're mad. Yes, the game could be better. It could be worse too. Find it weird that there is no option to restart the campaign tho in the menu itself and that you have to manually delete files.

That being said, have fun, wait if you want a more polished version but don't throw around lies.

I am in love with this game.
The amount of options you have, the lore, the story telling, each and every NPC or companion has so much detail and things to be intrigued about! The maps have alot of stuff to find, to explore and to test out. Be the hero and save all the people or be the douchebag that only thinks about themself, it's totally up to you!

By far, Baldur's Gate 3 is Game of the Year for me already. Much love to Larian Studios. The heart and love they poured into this game is enormous. <3

The content of this game is insane. You can do so much stuff, the story is amazing and for the players who don't like listening to endless cutscenes (which this game presents awesomely) you can skip almost all of them (which I personally wouldn't recommend). The playerbase is very friendly and helpful! You can play in a party of 4 to quest and do dungeons. There are so many dungeons/raids to do, from 4 player dungeons to 24 player raids. I'm truly amazed by this game and if you give it a chance and like MMORPGs, you will hopefully be too.

Very fun game to play alone and with friends. Story rich and stunning visuals. <3

First of all, yes I do recommend this game. The athmosphere and the play style are great, the animal models well done and the graphics are beautiful. BUT -

- servers suffer under heavy lag every hour after a fresh restart which is annoying because the gameplay (such as fights/hunts) are impossible to do.
- they have mechanics that seem to be buggy (birth system & some food mechanics)
- some animations are also bugged
- a few species seem to be overpowered (in my opinion) like the croc and some seem way too weak like the zebra and the giraffe

Yes, I am aware that this is still Early Access and that there is still much to be done, so I am being patient.
I still believe this game has great potential and may even rise high some day, I'm waiting for it.

Very cute, yet interesting game. Quirky mini-games and action aspects, alot of story - main and side quests are very good.

Fun gameplay and really addicting. Needs some polishing but definitly better than at it's release time! Really fun to play with friends.

Cute little puzzle game! Made me and my friends laugh alot because of our own stupidity sometimes but that made it even more enjoyable!
