While you might think that I forgot, this is actually a subversion of the typical July post. A commentary on the passage of time. It really is quite incredible to be able to look back and see a history, many years in the making, chronicling the journey of a man from one place to another. While it is not possible to see into the future, one must imaging those Matts, from all those years ago, knew what was ahead of them and all that they wouldn't achieve.
