I’m sharing my experience to warn others about the dangers of gacha gaming addiction. It started a year ago with Genshin Impact, where I began as a free-to-play player but quickly became frustrated with my progress.
I started buying $1 packs, then larger bundles, ultimately spending around $2000 in the first three months. When I lost interest in Genshin, I moved on to Zenless Zone Zero, falling into the same cycle of spending.
This continued with other games until I checked my Google Play history and realized I had spent about $15,000 on virtual items that offered no real value.
I sought professional help and broke free from this addiction.
