Rough around the edges, the Definitive Edition did help smoothen it. However, this game requires patience, it will get really rough, specially around the beginning. If you're playing this for the first time I recommend taking your time with it, take as much as you want. You will die a lot, there's too much ♥♥♥♥ in here, enemies, diseases , weather, hunger, so much ♥♥♥♥ to keep an eye out for. But when you do manage to learn it and speak its language, it's amazing. It has easily been one of my favorite games ever since it started clicking with me.
