Borderlands is a timeless classic, but its absolutely appalling that the developers left the "enhanced" edition in a state where multiplayer is literally unplayable due to lag without every party member editing a weird obscure config file to force disable voice chat because of a bug, and even after doing this the multiplayer performance still isn't exactly ideal. And that's maybe only the most egregious issue, there are plentyyy more, like some settings reverting to lowest randomly upon launching the game or audio just not working sometimes. It has been 4 years since this released, it's clear Gearbox just farted this out to get more people to buy this game again and then never gave it another thought. This game deserves better.

Made by nvidia, for nvidia (and probably to sell RTX 4000 cards). No seriously, good luck running this on an AMD card. I feel like I'm playing the portal N64 demake but with fancier lights

Ohh where do I start with this game..

I had this game before on my old laptop but it was too slow to run the game, so I had to uninstall it. Well now that I have a better pc, I came back to it because I never got to actually play it.

If I had to describe this game in one word, it would be "average". The graphics are average, the gameplay is average, and it's an all around average free to play game. Maybe even below average. There are 2 main problems with this game.

1: Everything is a grind. Seriously. I understand it's a free to play game and the devs need to make money, but a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scope is 5600 GP. At an average of 100 GP per game, a new player starting out with 1500 GP would need to play 41 games just to get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scope on their assault rifle. But it gets worse. All of the weapons are at least 16000 GP, which is 145 games from start and 160 games from 0 GP. Oh but of course you can just buy it, which is what seemingly everyone has done.

2: The gameplay is not exceptionally fun. If it weren't for the fact that literally almost everyone is above you when you're starting, maybe the gameplay would get a pass in my book. But as it is for me right now, the gameplay feels like it came out of one of the COD Modern Warfare games, which is sad for a futuristic shooter. There is no boost jumping, no sliding, no wallrunning, just plain boots on the ground, which would be fine, but this is a futuristic shooter that looks very similar to BO3 or Advanced Warfare. Also, it seems to be more twitchier than COD games usually are. 75% of the time when I get into a CQC fight I end up losing because by the time that I can turn my head to see who's shooting at me, I'm already dead because they were using a buffed up SMG they probably spent more than an actual COD game costs on it.

If this game wants to actually be a great game, it needs to fix both of these problems. Fixing either one would be redundant because I don't want to play a good shooter that is too much of a grind, or a bad shooter that you don't have to grind very much in. That's all I have to say about this game. Pls fix

This is a GREAT game that I would highly recommend to anyone... But there's two major problems.

1: I can't get past the part where you learn how to use the grappling hook without the game crashing.
I guess kevin wasn't lying about crashing my game there.

and 2: There's no save button, which would come in handy with this crashing thing.
On the bright side now I've become good at speedrunning that first part of the game.

Until at least the crashing gets fixed, I have to say I can't recommend this, even though everything else was perfect.

-found warface on a youtube video
-thought it looked cool
-went on steam and downloaded it
-7.3 gb, seems legit
-potato internet takes 6 hours to dowload it
-open up the game after dowload finishes
-make an account
-get into the launcher menu
-don't see any obvious play button
-look around more
-still no play button
-7.3 GB...?
-go to the warface webpage to try downloading the launcher from there
-click the download button
-downloads an installer
-run installer
-installer installs another launcher that looks completely different than the steam one
-sign into the launcher
-no play button on this launcher either
-oh wait, it wants you to download it
-nope not doing that

At least there was an uninstall button
