**Everything** about this game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gamba with 10 times worse odds than any real life CASINO. Crafting = rng, map loot = rng, boss loot = rng, monster dmg = rng lmao.

Bosses in this game do NOT feel rewarding. For example the normal or uber "pinnacle" bosses... You decide to go for a few "pinnacle" bosses, right? you pay a billion divine orbs for fragments to fight the bosses, and in return, you get items worth 2-10 times less than what you invested in the fragments, so you're better off just selling the fragments, not even doing the endgame bosses. Shouldn't killing an endgame PINNACLE boss in a videogame feel rewarding, instead of getting a load of worthless ♥♥♥♥? Hoping just for one good drop that has less than 1% chance of dropping is crazy. It's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ENDGAME bosses, and the developers expect you to farm them over 9000 times to get atleast one good drop from them (althought you still lose currency if you farm that many). There is literally zero reasons to do the endgame bosses more than once (just to get the voidstones). There is no goal after that

Crafting is mostly just pure rng of spamming trillions of orbs and other things to get what you need, making you only lose currency most of the time. There are just a few crafting ways that aren't rng, like the crafting bench, or horticraft, but those are quite limited

Map loot is kinda ok if you are willing to loot and click 7 gazillion times on every tiny thing to then sell in bulk (by the way I still don't understand why after all this time GGG never made their own item filter editor. like for example there's unofficial website for editing your filters Filterblade, but the only way GGG let's you "edit" your item filter on the PoE website that is looking like a website from 2005 is that they literally just show you the 9351 lines long .txt file XDDDDDDDDD)

The only way to make currency in this game is spamming a specific strat for hours/days/weeks to the point that it feels like a JOB. You can also just flip currency, but I wouldn't really call that playing a videogame

You want to open some stacked decks you farmed? No. Never do that. Always sell stacked decks, because if you have 3000 stacked decks, which you can sell for around 55 divines, you are not suposed to open them because you will get just a few cards that are worth something, and you will get maybe 20 divines worth of cards in return, so selling them for 55 divines which also takes just 5 seconds is the only reasonable decision. Stacked decks are overpriced for no reason, and it will take you ages just to open them one by one. You will always lose 50-75% value if you decide to open your stacked decks.

There are many other gambas in this videogame just like the stacked decks, and literally all of them make you lose. For example identifying jewels like "Voices", or "light of meaning", will always make you lose currency. You are always suposed to sell them unidentified and overpriced in bulk to those gamba addicts who are willing to lose all of their currency just to identify them. Then there are also gambas with the horticraft and divination cards, which are coded in a way that makes the gambler always lose just like in a casino

Another thing I dislike is that there's a few map/monster modifiers that just straight up completely ignore all your defences. for example "rare and unique monsters remove 5% of life, energy shield, and mana on hit" rendering all of your defences useless (yes some monsters hit 20 times in 0.1s), and making especially "low life" builds completely unplayable with those mods and you just get oneshot while you have the majority of your life reserved or something, because your energy shield gets bypassed. Another mod that doesn't make any sense is the volatile cores... yes, those practically invisible (invisible because most of the time you can't see anything because there's too much happening) flying fire balls that follow you and blow you up, oneshotting you every time no matter what, even if you have 90% all resistances, 15k energy shield, suppression, 65% block, 180k armour, endurance charges, etc... and... then there are also drowning orbs... uhhh...

I don't even want to mention the performance of this game... but it's just beyond horrible. I understand that there's a lot of math behind all the mechanics, so the CPU goes crazy, but going down to 0 fps and sometimes even everything disappearing (even the UI) during a blight encounter, for example, is just crazy. You'd expect that after 12 years of this game's development it would be somewhat optimized, but it only keeps getting worse and worse instead.

For some reason GGG also decides to rework some mechanics and make them either unviable or overcomplicated. Like scarabs were a nice and simple mechanic, but they decided to just completely rework them and ADD OVER 100 different types of scarabs which most of them nobody uses and will never use.

The only good thing about this game is the fact that you can create thousands of unique or fun builds.

Good game, but can't finish it due to a bug where Lucas just starts lockpicking my door but then he doesn't open it and he's stuck in front of the door forever - making it impossible to finish because then when i do anything (sit at pc, go to bathroom) he then just magically appears in my room and kills me. I tried contacting developer but got ignored.

Some areas were a little boring but overall it's a pretty good game. I enjoyed 2033 and last light a little more tho.
