honestly say the game is enjoyable, the difficulties are fair, the gameplay is unmatched from someone who hasnt played a ton of 'run and gun's. it has its strengths but they also just so happen to be my weaknesses. It has a lot of clever stuff hidden that any casual player like myself would just never find out without my friends being diehard fans showing me where things are a tips on how to play the game. The devs seem really cool most notably Gabriel's VA cause of all the memes. The gun play is just so complicated for someone new, back to the "i wouldnt know if it werent for friends" its tight and well crafted but its a lot. This probably isnt a fair comparison being an entirely different genre but Hollow Knights combat is very simple but also very fine tuned. For me being new the both genres they are in similar difficult possibly Hollow knight being harder due to the boss fights taking more time for me to learn the patterns over all. From the little Doom ive played the guns are a lot more fun with the knowledge on how to do 'Shotgun parry.' The game is well made but i dont know if its a game i love, most of the people ive heard this game about are die hard fans so it just feels odd being meh on the game TL:DR Game's well made but im not amazing at is and the only reason i know how to do cool stuff is cause my friends told me, If you like fast paced shooters with complicated but well indepth gun play go for it! If not talk to your mates that are into it see if learning soem cool tricks is worth it

I don't like platformers, this game doesn't really change that, but it was a really good challenge and felt good to accomplish, I mostly played because I love the games music. I then started enjoying the story, when it comes to gameplay it was very difficult. I stopped playing the game fore ages, picked it back up again to hear the music in action, and a few friend were bugging me to play. If you like the challenge, and want some good music go for it, if gameplay is all you're looking at if you don't like platformers don't get it

I have been playing this game daily, I think it has great music (Vanahiem 1 being my favorite) I was so bad at it at first, still have only beat it 3 times with the characters. I think it has some fun/interesting challenges for the player as well, adding slight differences. They also have a character that is made purely has a challenge, he is a one hit character. Even though I do like the graphics I can see it being a bit hard to look at if you are sensitive, and if you aren't great at these kind of games the first level music gets old (I was there it sucked but I got better!) and if you like knowing more when you first dive in some of the items level you hanging, but once you use it, they start to make sense. The music is another thing it is metal, but they make it to where it isn't stale they have melodies, and it isn't like Rip and Tear from Doom, they may be the same genre but they have very different qualities. If you get the game and aren't doing amazing, I made the game harder so I could hit the beat better I played on strict for a while, and now i can glide through till like the 4th boss on the normal beat setting. That's what I did don't have to do that. I highly recommend you get this game if rougelikes and music are your thing

I already really liked the base game, but when I modded it I played for 3 hours straight, this is a great game, very fun and enjoyable

Good Game, It only took me 2 years to play and beat the game, lmao. But it was fun and it was really fun and funny even if I knew what happened

I'm not great at the game but its fun, Interesting how you can make some meme decks really work. Would definitely would recommend if you like card based turned based combat

Good comedy, great art. My only problem is that the puzzles are really hard if you don't want to skip them, but that's part of the game so if you get easily frustrated like me you'll either want to look for a couple hints or just push through the pain. I took the easier route. I still find the game cute and enjoyable even with a little help
