If you are reading this review, you probably already know how incredible this game is. Now with some new Andromeda info out I've got ME fever again. This is actually my first run through on PC, but I've played it on XBox 360 many times. This game is absolute perfection though. The only complaint I have is actually specifically related to the MEUITM mod. It really does improve the look of the game quite a bit. However, it crashes like crazy. Especially on major cutscenes with dialoge, but sometimes in areas of a location with a lot of NPC activity. Even when following MEUITM's instructions for things to do prior to install, it doesn't help much. However, the game looks pretty decent without the mod, and with all the graphics settings on full, which shouldn't be a problem for most modern devices.

Bottom line:
Get it. Play it. Experience the legend of Commander Sheperd in his quest to kick Reaper ass and bang every hot blue alien chick in the galaxy. Buy the ME/ME2 bundle here and buy ME3 on the Bioware store. Give the trilogy a couple of good runs, because next year... We take over Andromeda.

I just had to write a review before I uninstalled: This game is the dumbest f**cking game I've played in a while, and I just reinstalled CSGO. I read the article on Kotaku and thought I'd check it out, which is dumb on my part because screw Kotaku. Just another bullsh*t free-to-play that you have to spend time making an account (yay for more spam emails?), verifying this or that (which by the way, go to your redist folder [common>Tribes>binaries>redist] and uninstall then reinstall "InstallHirezService" because its the only way you can get this dog turd game to even get past the lauch splash page, if you even can get to that point), then finding a server that has like 2 people, and putting up with the PS1 quality graphics. Dont bother, there's better games out there, if free-to-play is your bag of crisps.

This is a pretty cool game, and I guess famous? I had never heard of it until a coworker mentioned that he used to play it a long time ago. I saw that this Remastered version was on sale and that it has some seriously rave reviews and a huge (and aged) fanbase. Its definitely a great looking game and while the gameplay does take a little bit to get used to its really fun. My only problem so far is that is has crashed twice and I've only had it one day. I do have the Halo and Mass Effect workshop mods installed which I read can cause it to crash, and while I haven't played with those mods just yet, that may be the reason. I have not tried the multiplayer yet, thought I should mention that. If you can catch this while its still on sale, and you're a fan of RTS and want to try a space RTS pick this up!

Pros:
Simple resource system
Looks purdy
Great story
Soundtrack is cool (almost BSG Rebuild-esque)
Workshop items like the Halo and ME ships look insanely cool

Cons:
Crashes with mods on occasion
Learning curve with overall gameplay
The distances between places is bigger than you think and most of the ships move slower than how old people F*K

This game sure looks awesome on the trailer and screen shots...too bad its not actually that great. If you want to purchase this, dont, but if you must wait until its on some under $5 deal.

Really not impressed with this game, dont know why all the fuss about it. Crappy matchmaking system, have no choice on game modes, and it lags like crazy. It plays like crap. Seems all you have to do to win is to be super quick with ducking, then using aimbots to get an instant head shot. Weapon physics and overall graphics also suck. Again, really dont see how this can be one of the most popular games on the planet. Kinda feel ashamed to have paid $15 for it and I wish Steam would allow refunds.
