Democracy gave me a flamethrower for the problems I can solve, and the Hammer of Dawn + napalm for the ones I can't.

One of the best games I've ever played. The lore. The game mechanics. THE INTENSITY.

I love this game more than I love my girlfriend. It's got a steep learning curve, a lot of people are going to be better at it than you, the community is cancerous. But it's also stupidly fun, beheading people is pornography, mangling the masses of other players is pornography^2. If you have patience to learn the game, it's definitely worth the $30.

This game is actually decently addicting, but having random people grief you just for giggles ruins this game. Wish they'd kill the random players joining aspect.

I've been on and off on this game since Sophomore year of high school, I'm 21 now, this game was damn good back then, now it's damn great. It can be pay to win, but only if you're lazy. They've made it to where you can get money currency through in-game play, which has probably been my favorite thing about the developers. It's all about that grind, and it's better if you have a group.
I'd recommend tossing $20 bucks at this game for platinum for ease of use, but it's not necessary.

They added spyware, but even with that I'm pretty hard for this game here.
Cons, you don't get the full game unless you buy the last game, which is still a full price of $60, and then the DLC is like another $80 after that.
Pros, ♥♥♥♥ it, two tears in a bucket, the game is still worth it in the end, just save up your money, take out your retirement early if you have to. The best strategy game I've played.
Edit: Get the Steel Faith Overhaul mod, I can't go back, it makes the game 100% better.

Excellent game, the magic is awesome, and causing a 50 yard earthquake in all directions really gets you hot and bothered in ways you didn't really quite expect. The game is repeatable, kind of like dark souls where you start over with all your stuff, but nothing gets harder in this. Which is fine because there's so much to do you'll never get it all done in the first go around, or even the first three. I did like 6 playthroughs a while ago before I finally decided to put this game down. Now it's back on the market and I'm going to do the exact same things again (I'm genuinely excited). 8/10 game on a bad day.
