Don't get me wrong the game is well made but there are a lot missing keys to it.

1. First of all the ending made close to zero sense based on anything that you progressed through while playing the game.
2. There are very few different "mobs", seems like there needs to be a way more diverse range of different mutants/ cannibals.
3. You can beat the game probably in 30 minutes.
4. You don't even need to take the hours it takes to make a base, it feels pointless to even have one in my opinion.
5. There are only 2-3 decent caves and its repetitive interactions in all let alone same design in all.
6. They gave you an option to obtain a shotgun that is overwhelmingly overpowered.
7. Combat is decent but its once again repetitive (left click simulator).
8. There is no boss fights at all not even at the end of the game like the original "The Forest".
9. You get 3 cut scenes throughout the game that leaves you guessing on what even is happening because it tells/shows you nothing to be able to keep track of the story behind the island. (pretty much useless cut scenes that make zero sense)

I believe the game is worth the money and i enjoyed playing, but as of right now it needs a lot of work.
