+Mica has a great ass
+/-The atmosphere and LoD is pretty good in the interior environments, the outside is just 144p copy paste slop though

-Piss easy, an inch away from being a walking sim
-2 enemies present throughout the whole game and a few dogs with pathfinding so broken that it's funny
-No real sense of urgency/horror due to the walking sim nature of the game, doesn't hold a candle to the og's in terms of gameplay or challenge
-The melee combat is bordering on inoperable
-The "puzzles" are pointless busywork, no brain power required

It's honestly amazing how stellar this game is. From character designs to the music to the combat and worldbuilding, the newest entry to the Prince of Persia franchise competes easily with its great predecessors of the modern age. If you love Metroidvanias, look no further.

The only caveat is the SMALL extra hassle with the Ubisoft-launcher, but do not let that stop you from enjoying this brilliant game.

High recommend.

Pretty much a walking sim but a Quadruple A-quality one at that. The overall detail of "The Beira D" is absolutely stunning and the atmosphere is so thick that you can almost taste the cold sea air, smell the machinery and its grimy surroundings, and feel the freezing water on your skin. The monster design will get under your skin as well, the devs have read their Colour Out of Space for sure.

Easy recommend for horror fans.

+Super high quality art design and cut-scenes

-So much talking and exposition x1
-So much talking and exposition x2
-So much talking and exposition x3
-Card art is non-inviting
-The inventory system is cumbersome asf
-Static map, not really a roguelike experience in the traditional sense at least on the map side
-Too easy, don't have to pay attention to almost anything to win a match yet you're being bombarded with choices and highly varying status effects in every fight
-But mostly, the talking and exposition x4

+♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing card splash art

-An unkillable turbo-gimmick true final boss. "Survive for 15 rounds and you win, yay!!" So fun to get my deck that I spent the whole run minmaxing to get nullified by yet another gimmick looking ass goofy ahh eternal healthbar boss. It's like a bad joke. Motivation to continue: 0.

Somehow they decided to go even harder with the OST on this one. Slaps so hard you might have to go to the doctor's afterwards.

Also, more Hotline Miami.

It's mid and there are way better games out there. The crux of the cardplay rapidly devolves into one single gimmick: managing your infinite 0 cost combos against the endgame bosses invincibility phases, which completely counter your hands, whereas normals and elites just fall in turn 1.

In other games in the genre, the "Infinity hand" runs are VERY few and far between, and when you nail them, they are stupidly powerful, game breaking even. Here, it's with every run and class setup. After midgame, prepare to always have at least 20+ cards in your hand every single round. You even have spammable non-exhaust cards for this very reason to increase your hand size to near infinity. Gets cumbersome after a few hours.
