As someone has committed several hundred hours to the persona franchise, I had high expectations for this new IP, but was unsure if I would be able to adjust to the fantasy setting. I needn't have worried however, as I soon found myself immersed in the world and characters the game provided.
Metaphor takes a lot of inspiration from the persona franchise, but makes a lot of small but noticeable changes to its systems, such as a shorter and less pressuring time system, as well as adding a lot of elements from their other titles, including press turn and jobs, that all work together to create a familiar yet new experience for its players.
I personally believe the story of this game to be one of the most interesting and best told of any of Atlus' games to date, the twist villains they usually implement are fun, but are often predictable and can mess with the flow of the plot, so it was nice to have a single constant antagonist for this title, especially one with good motivations and growth.
The UI and OST both live up to the high standard Atlus is creating with its newest releases, and do a great job setting the tone for the game.
The only criticism I can think of for the game, is that the initial dungeon of the game seemed incredibly long compared to all the others, it took me about 4 ingame days to finish the first, while I finished all others in a single day, I would have liked to see less of the first dungeon, and more of the other main dungeons.
Overall, this is easily one of the best games I've played this year, which is impressive since I didn't see anything beating P3R for me.

After losing interest in P4G I was hoping finally being able to play P5R would rekindle my love for the Persona series, and if you couldn't tell by the 250 hour playtime, I'd say it did. Everything about this game screams quality, the gameplay is entertaining and will keep you occupied for a while, the characters stories are unique and most of them have some interesting twists and encouraging resolutions that will make you feel good. The visuals practically ooze style, from the cutscenes to the menus, and the game is extremely aware of that fact. I don't think I even have to mention the music. This is an incredible game that I think everyone should be able to experience, which is why I am so happy that Atlus has started porting it to more consoles, so people like me can enjoy their work.

If someone told me a few years ago that the Stanley Parable would one day receive a remake, with the main new feature being a regular bucket that you got to carry around I would have told them they were insane.

But not only would they be correct, this one feature alone would increase the game's enjoyment by an un-measurable amount.

Raphael would be proud, 427/10.

Early Access Review
Someone needs to figure out how I can get a physical collectors edition of this game, on Nintendo Switch. I'll wait. However long it takes. It needs to happen.

Also buy the soundtrack.

I never played the original Spiro games, they were before my time, and I currently haven’t played much of this remake either, however what I have played I have immensely enjoyed. The platforming is smooth and enjoyable, with each game and level offering its own similar yet unique challenges. The game has a lot of optional achievements and collectibles which I personally love to try and do. The story and voice acting seemed quite cheesy and childlike to me at first, but it rather quickly grew on me, it couldn’t fail to with the amount of energy that the actors put into delivering their lines. As I said I never played the original games, but I have seen screenshots of them, and while I do like the look of the retro graphics, I think the devs did an amazing job updating the assets to a more modern look, and I personally prefer this more sleek design to the original. While some of the levels have been frustrating to play and complete, I believe I can honestly say I have not had a single moment in the game where I haven’t enjoyed myself, and I look forward to playing more of it in the future.

Celeste is an amazing game with a beautiful and moving story about overcoming anxiety and forming new friendships. The gameplay does a brilliant job of being very simple, yet quite challenging as well. The game is quite easy for the most part, however it has many more optional levels, that offer a challenge to even the most skilled of players, or if you are less skilled, it also offers several options to make the game easier, and even skip levels, if you just want to experience the story of this wonderful game. The soundtrack is also incredible, with epic songs to inspire you along your journey. Each song is unique yet share similarities with each other, and the game also remixes all of the songs, so if you dislike the original song, I gurrantee you'll love its remix! With hours of content to keep you entertained, Celeste is one of the greatest games I've ever played and I highly recomend it, whether your looking for an entertaining story, a fun game play experience or a new challenge to devote hours of your life to, Celeste has it all!

Shovel knight is one of the best games I have ever played, the graphics and animations are outstanding, and the gameplay is unique and enjoyable. The game offers a challenge while still being beatable within a reasonable amount of time, while also offering hundreds of hours of gameplay. The additional campaigns are the equivalent of a whole new game and to give them away for free to people who have already brought the game is either madness or the biggest discount in history. This game is amazing and was worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

I have played through both chapters and I feel that this game has a lot of potential, the old timey graphics give the game a very creepy vibe and the gameplay contains a lot of promice, I can't wait for chapter 3!
