Kainga; Seeds of Civilization is a very recent surprise that has popped up in early access and while it is very new I think it has a HUGE amount of promise especially to be a great game!

- Pros -
Gorgeous Artstyle - from the really eye catching landscapes to the simple yet distinct 2d thinkers and braves, to the leviathans and many other beasts that roam the lands to the beautiful buildings. It's a feast to behold especially with all the building options and little details like arch forming with some house types. Ontop of that it's never boring watching the leviathan especially the crab one erupt from the earth carrying the land,buildings and people on its back.

Music - a enjoyable soundtrack that blends well with the sounds of the game giving a sense of rhythm as well as that distinctive ancient theme the game sports!

Gameplay - I love it, its interesting that's its more mission based but it definitely keeps things fresh! And works well with the games focus on having to choose technologies for your missions and how you want to approach things especially when it comes to resources, offensive and defensive and dealing with things like weather,beasts,enemy villages or the massive levithans themselves.

Ontop of that an incentive is you earn karma during missions, from doing festivals,slaying enemy thinkers and completing the mission objective these allow you to unlock new technologies sole being rarer then others with you unlock thier details upon finding them via inspirations which your thinker finds. Allowing you to choose between 3 ideas or reroll for free once and then use karma to re roll, or even take passive perks to help you and your braves out!

Cons
Honestly beyond notably bugs which the only two prevelant ones I experienced was stuck on ladders,and my thinker/braves hoping onto land only to suddenly slide off or fall into water even though they are right next to it.

The only real thing is how spawning works, which don't get me wrong I enjoy a good challenge but when your sometimes outright sandwiched between villages and unable to sometimes do much it does blow and its weird when there's a whole bunch of land yet all the villages are so close together

I think if anything either a map size system or a villages placement system especially since your starting at square one against villages that have the basics and will harass you at every chance though I'm excited for the next update that does flesh out villages more.

Summary - overall I think its a legitimately awesome game and I wish Erik(the Dev of Kainga) All the luck in the world! I'm rooting for ya :D

Solid good game,good music,good visuals, and good dlc :D

for a demo its pretty freaking solid with good graphics and solid gameplay with the enviorment being pretty tense

im seriously hyped for it and i reccomend giving it a try

A wonderful 2d style game with alot of interesting lore and stories to tell amongst its monsters,settings,weapons and armour and even the skill tree skills have chunks of lore from the world beyond what you see

id highly reccomend as a whole.

First off this game is fun its pretty and its a blast to play but the technical issues are bad, such as whole keyboard freezing up leading to you having to force shut down your computer sucks and if you in multiplayer doing this you can pretty much be screwed overall. its a shame cause the game itself is really fun but these errors ruin it sadly and the AI can be not so bright at times.

also 30 bucks is over doing it I think as a whole

Fun game with a pretty decent modding community. Overall I think its pretty fun and perfect with friends

Cons

I cant think much for cons

some descriptions could be improved and for some of the party members darken thier stats or change it to a diffrent color as with one party member you cant see his health or rage at all making it difficult

Overall I can see alot of love and effort and time was put into this and I can definitly see that this developer has something going for him and its definitly based off of off in its presentation and art work as well as overall style WHICH I LOVE and overall I think its great im thrilled for the next project

And i reccomend supporting the guy so much :D

the levels are unqiue and diffrent
