ITS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get other versions to load because steam hijacks the .exe for rerouting to the launcher.
i made a work around - but, apparently steam didn't like that.
its a stand-alone game that NEED NO INTERNET - yet, can only play through them - which is quite twisted and questionably legal.

You'll enjoy it until it randomly deletes a vault you've been working on for months.
One of very very VERY few games on steam that actually functions as advertised >75% of the time.

clunky, slow, bulky, and very very insistent on itself.
a far cry from the fun (and functionality) of previous versions.
ALSO many many many many many bugs, glitches, and spots of ♥♥♥♥ programming.
frustratingly poorly programmed, tested, and unleashed without a single fix after all these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years.
