I so desperately want to recommend this game, but I absolutely cannot with the new change that they are rolling out to do with account linking.

Let's start with the MASSIVE amount of good this game does.
Weapons feel amazing to use for the most part, sometimes under or over powered, but usually fixed in a decent amount of time. And when they are balanced out, they normally still feel great to use and slaughter hordes with.
Most of the armours are drippy as ♥♥♥♥. capes are very hit or miss, same with helmets, but the armours range from great to meh levels of drip-mocracy.
Stratagems and support weapons feel GREAT to use, and almost always feel like they have the correct amount of power for what you're using.
Ordnance tools like grenades feel good to use as well, while on occasion feeling maybe a LITTLE underpowered.
The maps made for the planets are FANTASTIC, and the maps are genuinely GORGEOUS. We are talking cinematic levels of detail.

Now for the awful new decision they have made recently.
Everyone on steam will be forced to link their account with a PSN account. This is not just for crossplaying with console players, but for if you wish to play AT ALL on steam.
Their only reasoning for this decision was how it will raise the security of the game.. somehow?
Having to cross my steam account with an account from a company which has had countless hacking and data breaches in the past 20 years is not going to help secure anything.

As of today, or around the day may 5th, the decision to make all players link a sony account has been rescinded, and as such, the one glaring issue i had with this game, is fixed. The collective protest of Arrowhead and the community has worked, and I can now give this game a wonderful review!
