Bethesda trying to make fallout 76 more appealing on steam by putting denuvo in doom. What a time to be alive.

No matchmaking for weaves and no reason to go back to farm them. Beastmen have an inherit flaw where they hit you from a mile away and when they stagger, they literally slide 10 feet away from you so gl trying to deal with that. New Difficulty is fun but there's hardly anyone playing it because of the price gate. Tried being positive about this "expansion" but i can't in good faith give it a good review. Also the Slayer kit and ult are garbage now but at least the devs likes it.

Played a little of the campaign. Crashed. Then I played lets troubleshoot another Triple A game that needs to have it's own log in to stop you from playing the game. 10/10 would make an xbox live account again

Don't expect updates in a timely manner or transparency on basically anything. Looks like there is no stopping the nickel and diming for premium BS. They were burned on their roadmap and now they've sent a newsletter out basically patting themselves on the back for game sales. Still no dedicated servers and an awful host migration system. So many bugs and schrodinger's hitboxes. (Ex. Phantom swings - swinging and not hitting anything - were around for more than a year but was fixed on the modded realm via a player made mod. This mod wasn't sanctioned and they left this game breaking nonsense around instead of using the mod and getting rid of "precision swings")

Recently announced new game and "expansion" for the current game. Once again keeping details highly secretive but at this point one can only speculate from the history of this company that it will possibly have a good core but expect nothing more than that.

All that being said, the game itself is "good" BUT just expect the actual direction of things to go a mind boggling weird direction of trying to adopt other games tedious BS and abysmal bug fixing with possible live service nickle and diming garbage.

Riddled with Triple A pay first, play later nonsense. It has a core but that's all. give it maybe 2-3 years and it might have some content.

Invasion update - the bit of fun they had in the game was taken away by an immense grind for gear because of abysmal drop rates (the new gear is the same old gear with more stats now). monsters have been scaled to outrageous hp values and damage. keyboard/mouse controls are still garbage along with numerous other bugs.
