Actually solid 8.1/10.
Campaign: Easily the best since Modern Warfare 2019.
Multiplayer: Very similar to Cold War , but with more polish.
Zombies: Solid maps and decent characters, with fun gunplay, only issue is the amount of miniboss spawns.
Once again, VERY similar to Cold War in both zombies and multiplayer.

Stresses me out too much.

It just works.

Let me preface with this: This game is terrifying, gory, and pure uncompromising suspense. definitely NOT for the faint of heart.
It's also my entry point to the franchise, and it is a pure, raw, exquisite, horror experience. As of writing, a whole 4.2 hrs have been spent in this beautiful nightmare. And, I do mean beautiful. The graphics are amazing, and the audio is brilliant.
All in all, at the moment, solid 9.7/10

One of the missions alone is worth buying this game if ykyk, Campaign is Phenomenal, multiplayer I haven’t touched, and idc about spec ops. Buy for Campaign, not for multiplayer

Multiplayer mode is phenomenal, and Campaign is very well made. Zombies is good. Highly recommend for campaign and multiplayer, don’t buy just for zombies though.

This is a phenomenal game, easily one of the best zombie games ever made. The multiplayer is not of interest for me, but Zombies and Campaign are phenomenally made.

Easily the best game from 2008, graphics and zombies still hold up to this day.. however there are some glaring issues, such as the aiming is rather unresponsive when at point blank, ex. (such as during early rounds in zombies, me and a friend were basically right infront of the zombies only to miss every shot, unloading clip after clip into what should have been they're skulls, but alas all we hit was thin air.) campaign can be frustrating but overall easily the best game to take place in WWII EVER. get this instead of WW2 that game is way more expensive for AAA garbage

Don't purchase this on it's own, only buy this if you're buying a bundle. if you're trying to experience half life, buy Black Mesa or Half Life, not Half Life: Source. the only game from valve I don't recommend.
