All the textures are numbered rather than named, so If you're looking for a specific texture to replace, the terraria wiki has lists of tile IDs, item IDs, projectile IDs, and npc IDs that will help you.

Well, you'll need TConvert and Localization Packer for extracting the files. Without those, you have no way of knowing what to call the files/localization entries.
