I'm a 10th grader who carpools with a 9th grade boy (we're not really friends or anything, but we get along ok) home from school and his mom drives us. Today, after I got out of the car I noticed some period blood on the car seat, which were leather, not too much but noticeable. I panicked and sort of looked around and I'm pretty sure the mom noticed because she kind of just looked at me and then the seat and said "ok, bye!" and drove away and I don't know if he saw. I'm super mortified and I haven't told my mom because I know she would get mad at me for wearing the wrong type of pad, not noticing it shifted etc... I'm really embarrassed because I feel like after more than 3 years I should know how to handle this and I don't know what to do, how I should approach this...should I pretend it never happened, or when should I talk to her because he's pretty much in the car the whole time most days...and I don't know whether to ask my parents for a ride tomorrow instead of going with them
