ive been excited for this since i finished reverie not too long after it first came out out. when it first dropped on steam two days ago i was overly ecstatic and when i had the free time i played it as much as i could because ive been in love with since momodora 2. when i started playing this getting past the intro i cried happy tears and smiled from beginning to end.... after which i cried again (im a really emotional person with things im passionate about) this game felt like an absolute masterpiece beginning to end every moment of exploring felt whimsical the music was beautiful especially the koho's theme this game delivered on so many levels i wasn't ready.
p.s after reading what paul wrote in the dev room any thoughts that you have about the animations not being good just throw them out, you absolutely killed it bro

used to actually work, but anymore you get kicked from servers without any sort or reason. the page it tells you to go to for help 404s and the community fixes havent helped. it sucks cause i really wanna play again but its like it doesnt wanna exist

the tthe almost 24 of this game ive play i did it as a majority of a solo player in the dmz mode. im a tarkov player and am no stranger to "difficult" games as the difficulty from these games tend to bring me satisfaction. the difficulty come usually in the form of pvp type gameplay and i like that because in those games even when the odds are completely stacked against you, theres a chance you can still win, that being said im well accustomed to being head, eyes by a scav from 500 meters out from time to time it happens but this game is on a whole new level of just... stupidly over tuned AI. on top of textures not properly loading in at times i keep running into the issue of AI spawning in literally infront of me and breaking my armor before they fully render usually the more heavily armored units that even with ap rounds take 6 (yes i counted) rounds of 5.56 to break a helmet and sometimes these lets just call them scavs for simplicity dont even spawn in as the right model and have beamed a guy with a hat on in the face and didnt crack his non existant helmet and dont even get me started on thier accuracy. scavs literally spawn with some of the most bottom tiered weapons in terms of recoil control and will laser you through a wall of concrete with a janky ak no stock, shorty barrel and it amazes me. the hilarity of these overtuned enemies is mind boggling, or they will act so aloof and not know youre there despite gunning down 2 guys next to them. they are so inconsistent and it seriously ruins the game i really wanna like this game i really do but its impossible in its current state the only thing they do consistently is not miss. this type of genre does not belong in a call of duty setting the game its too much of an arcade shooter to try and bite off realism shooters, while they try thier best with how the game is set up and meant to be played it just doesnt work. its clunky and mechanically flawed in many ways.
i do like one thing they introduced that being insured weapons just being a kit that you made being while on a long timer it can go down quickly under the right conditions. the only reasons why i even picked this up is because i liked the MW remake in 2019 and hoped that certain operators gained through the battlepasses would carry over and cause its what my frens want to play currently and mostly just this so i feel trapped to play it. my final rating for this game in this state and time is a sonic 06/10 if they could get away with it without backlash they would patch the game but put it behind a 35 dollar dlc paywall and make it a 40gb addon. its an absolute mess when playing anything other then the MP. it makes my skin crawl for me to say and believe that fortnite is a much better game then this.

this game like to cause anger, between ogres having i frames and UT attack not hitting properly its hardly worth playing unless you like ♥♥♥♥ and ball torture. if you do decide to play still stick to the dragon sword and maxed wooden sword even then you'll still hit like a wet noodle and the game makes you feel like its a skill issue

ngl only bought this on steam to mod it but modding zombies on this is a headache and a half and i wanna refund it but cant because my the hard crashed and refused to let me do anything for like an hour then i had to eat so by the time i came back it was already past the 2 hour lmit

its an oki game i mean, i came for the art and the gameplay in thoery sounded fun but doing quests i very quickly got lost and stuff got really really boring as not able to complete the 8 quests i had because it was like the items i needed didnt exist so... i just cheated and watched all the scenes to beat my meat. faun princess and mouse princess are the best girls prove me wrong. ngl tho i only say faun princess because of one scene

they extended the window of play to december and i couldnt be happier, i might have originally left a negative review because of it closing so soon after being ported however not that they gave up a couple more months to enjoy it im comfortable in changing my mind

some odd reason whenever i boot the game after re downloading it on my main pc for nostalgia reasons it deletes the exe file on its own preventing playing the game and when validated it deletes it again upon pressing play

love the last stand franchise grew up with it but this game feels really awful to play, not becasue the controls are wonky but because of how buggy elevated terrain is, once you get a bit later into the game theres more extreme elevation changes which unless you know how shooting and attacking or even just throwing things work in this game it just seems like oh oki theres some stairs. no, stairs quickly become your nemesis cause you to not be able to shoot anything because they are too high, you cant throw a grenade because it will practically drop at your feet and lastly and the most dentrimental point... awful geometry clipping you will repeatedly get stuck half of the time later on just on flat ground its like it was left half finished because they didnt expect anyone to really play that long so they just through a largemap over it and called it a day. its really infuriating to get a god run just cruising through to be sent all the way back to the beginning because your character either.. 1 clipped out of bounds and cant do anything before dying, 2 clip out of bounds floating into the air surrounded by zombies you cant shoot because you guessed it elevation change, 3 bullets passing though enemies because they are slightly more elevated then you. or 4 and my personal favorite because of how blight works. getting charged by a charger and knocked over into a confined space then have 2 boomers running towards you and exploding causing all 2-5 bars of health to unavoidedly mutate because antidotes are hard to find ingredients for and antiviral which you can only carry 1 of might i add can be so rare to find its almost impossible to find a steady supply of one of the games most crucial resources to have any chance of even considering going for completion. i really wanna like this game i really do but given so many of the bugs in the game arent even funny they just there to spit on you i almost HAVE to refuse even other diehard fans of the series from playing this game. most of the time its not fun its not punishing in its design its just broken like it was rushed out by some aaa company making an excuse to be given money. if there wasnt such a problem with even the most mundane thing (mind you i got stuck in place by the water zombies that tickle your ankles) i would easily recommend it because it can be good and it is interesting it just needs a lot of love and some work done.
i would like to say. the next immediate run after posting this i had made it to the draw bridge and had gotten stuck on a step and could neither walk up or down i was legit just stuck there and i laughed so hard i cried

first thing i would like to say about this game is that over the course of covid and there not being many good/great games to come out during it this is by far one the the best ones i have played by a long shot; i have a big soft spot for card games because a like a lot of the art and mechanics that go into them. that being said not only was this game 20 bucks compared to 60 for modern big releases this game also wasnt completely bug ridden to a point of brokenness and the best part it was actually finished at release, unlike most triple a games to release in the past 5 years. big props to the team behind incryption if yall can keep making absolute bangers like this ill gladly pay for them full price and replay the ♥♥♥♥ out of them
