Now looking aside from the Criticism from 2019, this DLC is absolutely amazing. The story, whilst admittedly being a little bit boring, is still interesting, and feels more real to some extent, Enemy AI in the campaigns are quite well skilled, so expect to die often.

The assets, themselves are something to brag about. The guns sound amazing, as the AK now finally has a proper sound that barks "POWERFUL!" In the upcoming 1.5 update, there will be an even wider selection of weapons, as new factions are subfactions are getting added. The civilians get treated well, as they receive alot of vehicles, and plenty of firetrucks.

The vehicles themselves are pretty unique, Where else do you get to play with a Leopard 1 in arma? HAFM seems to be the only ones to also have Leopard 1s before GM. There are alot of different versions of the Leopard 1, as well as the T-55, BTR, and military trucks (Primarily west germany). Unique artillery pieces, unique planes and helicopters all got added, yet there is still room for more to be added in.

There are 4 factions excluding border guards (Subfactions). One of which includes a nation that is usually ***never*** represented in Arma: Denmark! Denmark finally got good representation thanks to this DLC. And as a Dane, this completely validated me and motivated me to get the DLC. Danish assets, while lacking a bit compared to West Germany, still get a fair amount of decent equipment. West Germany gets the brunt of content, as they now also have 90s equipment (Denmark got 90s soldiers first, but West Germany gets more 90s gear.) East Germany gets a fair amount of interesting vehicles as well, especially in armored vehicles and helicopters and infantry. And at last is Poland. Poland gets featured more unique helicopters, some tanks and a unique APC. (SKOT-2A)

The map itself is actually pretty cool, and is modelled after a real place. (Look for Weferlingen on google maps, the town placement and so forth is quite spot-on). It even features an autobahn, which is the only place you really can take off with modded planes, the planes in the games are STOLs, twin engine prop aircraft.

I gotta admit, i expected this to be a horror game. But honestly, for what it is. It's absolutely amazing. I loved the story, the chemistry between the two, the untold parts of the story, it's honestly a very underrated game, play it. It's worth the 3 hours.

I know that my review last year was pretty harsh on war thunder, but in my opinion, it's gotten better now. Gaijin felt so threatened by the Review bombing, that they finally began to be more considerate to the community, and released some pretty decent updates as of recently. Of course in typical gaijin fashion: Gimping western vehicles and etc.

Aside from that, the game has seemingly gotten alot better since that has happened, and I'd wish that gaijn keeps it up, but would stop gimping the western nations over as much as they do.

Alright, so let's start off simple: The game is about the Vietnam war, and has a map that actually looks decent compared to the maps in that UNSUNG Mod. Cars and helicopters got Radios, that you can play music in. The Gunships can pretty much oneshop the NVA patrol boats with rockets, y'know, the usual. There's even a melee mechanic! The mod introduces some newer concepts, hell, even the troops say certain things, have death cries, yelling as well - Being certainly a good attempt of being Realistic. But there is definately a bit of tweaking required on this mod. For example, with an M41A3 Walker Bulldog, you can apparently have infinite collat? I tested it out in the editor, and apparently i could penetrate a long, line of Type 63s. That's great and all. But the map layout confuses me a little. Apparently the map got Da Nang, Hue, Saigon, Hanoi, and Hai Phong all together (?) - But it's in this map obviously smaller than Vietnam itself, well, that's Arma for you. Oh, and why is there only the Alabama-copters from the russians called "MI-2" Helicopters. Also lack of MiG Jets. Might want to add that, too. That is all i can think of right now.

I actually like this game, i do not see a reason to hate it. Sure, rifles might be inaccurate. But it's good.

Other than that, it's a great puzzle game. I personally enjoy it as well.

Not gonna lie, i think the game is fine, i mean, i will fight to the death for the right to keep your opinions, but i personally do not think the game deserves this hate. btw, got this for my DVD though

Growing up, this is undoubtedly the best men of war game ever played.

I have gotten slightly better at rts, but this sure as hell beats the older, clunky mechanics of the original men of war, i love this game far more, although its campaigns are lackluster in comparison to the original men of war.
