Now looking aside from the Criticism from 2019, this DLC is absolutely amazing. The story, whilst admittedly being a little bit boring, is still interesting, and feels more real to some extent, Enemy AI in the campaigns are quite well skilled, so expect to die often.

The assets, themselves are something to brag about. The guns sound amazing, as the AK now finally has a proper sound that barks "POWERFUL!" In the upcoming 1.5 update, there will be an even wider selection of weapons, as new factions are subfactions are getting added. The civilians get treated well, as they receive alot of vehicles, and plenty of firetrucks.

The vehicles themselves are pretty unique, Where else do you get to play with a Leopard 1 in arma? HAFM seems to be the only ones to also have Leopard 1s before GM. There are alot of different versions of the Leopard 1, as well as the T-55, BTR, and military trucks (Primarily west germany). Unique artillery pieces, unique planes and helicopters all got added, yet there is still room for more to be added in.

There are 4 factions excluding border guards (Subfactions). One of which includes a nation that is usually ***never*** represented in Arma: Denmark! Denmark finally got good representation thanks to this DLC. And as a Dane, this completely validated me and motivated me to get the DLC. Danish assets, while lacking a bit compared to West Germany, still get a fair amount of decent equipment. West Germany gets the brunt of content, as they now also have 90s equipment (Denmark got 90s soldiers first, but West Germany gets more 90s gear.) East Germany gets a fair amount of interesting vehicles as well, especially in armored vehicles and helicopters and infantry. And at last is Poland. Poland gets featured more unique helicopters, some tanks and a unique APC. (SKOT-2A)

The map itself is actually pretty cool, and is modelled after a real place. (Look for Weferlingen on google maps, the town placement and so forth is quite spot-on). It even features an autobahn, which is the only place you really can take off with modded planes, the planes in the games are STOLs, twin engine prop aircraft.
